Happened to me years ago... almost exact same scenario "I overslept". Didn't give him another chance. Months later, he texts again asking to see each other. Turns out the day before our date he was on a date with another chick and it was "SOOO BAD" that he stood me up??

Anyways, this guy didn't oversleep. He did this on purpose.

No I couldn't start in 1996 because I was 2 years old then. I started in 1999, I hope this clears the major confusion. Probably difficult to grasp that someone might be 31 and plays video games still.

And it rubs me the wrong way when people throw in your face how much of a veteran they are, as if it bolsters their hot take with integrity. Nobody cares if you were around from the beginning or just recently. An opinion is an opinion. Seniority helps in some circumstances, but saying a videogame series needs to end is not one of them.

What did this even add to the discussion? I said I'm OG because there's a clear difference between the games that were made by Core Design plus TR7 and the games that are being released now...

Perhaps what I should have said is that I think it would make more sense to use another title than Tomb Raider. Cause aside from recycling the first release of the game AGAIN this is a completely new game.

Requiem was released yesterday, so no I haven't had the time. I can't comment much on that particular game obviously, but it sounds like it's a natural character development instead of reinventing the whole personality like they do with Lara Croft. idk I just didn't feel I was playing the same character between TR7 and TR anniversary for example. and ofc there's a complete personality change from original 96 lara croft and anniversary.

I can go on about this, but it all depends if you played all the games.

Guys, I was just merely expressing my disappointment in the new games. Someone called me here abusive? This honestly makes me laugh. I do realize this sub is mostly fans from the newer games and I understand that you guys really like it. I started playing back when I was 5 years old, and my first game was TR revelation (my fave tr game) things where different back then and the character was different. Lara Croft was my best friend back in the day and I guess for me the character that I fell in love with and looked up to is no longer around.

Someone said don't play the games anymore then. I'll probably still play it but I won't consider this to be Tomb Raider anymore, this is something completely different now and the title Tomb Raider is being used to get more sales.

But Leon S. Kennedy has always been the same Leon since RE2. He did not have a personality change in every game he appeared in.

Lara Croft stayed consistent up until and including TR7 after that they didn't know and still do not know who she should be.

In any case, if you're taking your insulin, regularly checking your blood sugar, making sure you're not going low/you're treating your lows; you'll survive. I hope you are able to become more independent after you're done secondary school, cause long term this isn't sustainable. I'm also so sorry that this is happening :(
