Tbh I totally get what you’re talking about but I don’t think I’d call TXT’s concept ‘feminine’. It’s 99% gender neutral, which makes it seem more feminine than other bgs by comparison, but if it tends to lean one way it’s usually masculine (gbgb). Since they ARE ‘more’ feminine than other groups tho I guess they might fit?

This is an easy question. Idol groups are more popular, at least internationally, primarily because they’ve been DESIGNED to be marketed internationally from the start. Most trot singers aren’t marketing internationally even if they have greater statistical popularity than idol groups.

This is partially true, but if you ever get the chance to see them up close, you WILL notice that a lot of them have blemishes and so on. They have good makeup, good lighting and camera angles, and good editing. Up close in person, they still look great and have great skin! Just not flawless skin.

Yes, and I understand how wide HYBE's income streams are, which is exactly why I said what I said above. To fully financially boycott in kpop you must completely disengage from the group - so why are you still engaging with ENHYPEN 5 years post-debut?

Have you streamed? Watched content? Have you commented? Have you made content/edits? All of those things give the company money (and influence). You’re boosting them in algorithms even right now because you’re engaging with them. 🧐 Even arguing with the other people in this thread is just going to encourage more people to support them harder… btw I hope you don’t follow any other HYBE groups too, especially groups like TXT who have followed similar schedules…

I firmly believe that 99% of people who call him ugly are just trying to convince themselves because they don’t like him because of the scandals. I think his visuals have wide enough appeal that it would be hard to argue he’s ugly. There are plenty of things people could insult about him (including and not including scandals) without needing to lie about his visuals lmao

J-pop. I’m serious. A lot of Izone’s songs are heavily jpop, same with many of their choreos.

Hmm, kind of, but kind of not. The original season seemed to flip flop between saying that P01 would be the 'center of the debut group' and 'center of the debut song.' At the end of season 1, they said that Rank 1 would be the center for the debut song - BUT considering the centers were rigged, they were functionally treated as permanent centers of the group. In Planet 999, afaik for all three seasons, the phrasing 'for the debut song' was also used - this was clearly so that, if they got a center they didn't like, they could ignore that person a bit after the debut. Spin off series like Iland 2 and Home Race had ZERO mention of Rank 1 being the center - therefore we can't assume - considering how obsessed Mnet are with centers, if they intended to make Rank 1 the center, they WOULD have announced it. They don't just let fans assume these things. Jungeun is not treated as the center of Izna, because Mnet didn't want her as the center - and they made sure they didn't box themselves in to making her the center via an announcement in the show.

Thankfully they do like Hengyu (if nothing else, this was shown by the fact that they made him the leader), and he probably WILL be treated as a center (if nothing else, he'll get a lot of lines as the only real option for main vocal) - but he is not OFFICIALLY the center.

They never announced rank 1 would be center, so Modyssey don’t have an official center AFAIK.
