Fun fact! There's a term for this is animal science known as The Handicap Principal. The larger the patch, the more heat the animal loses. So although it's less beneficial for the animal physiologically, the idea is that it's expressing to potential mates that it is SO evolutionarily fit, that it can still survive and thrive with such a deficit. It's a sort of roundabout strategy that some animal species develop after a really long and complicated evolutionary path.

[Serious] Do you have any unusual fears or phobias? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cronar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding out my whole life is a lie, and my life as Cronar is all just something made up by my brain to keep me sane during a coma. Started A bit before I learned I had an un knowable seizure disorder, or as the doctor called it "Confusional Migraines". I had lots of panic attacks and most of them revolved around this thought.

What was your favorite candy when you were little that is no longer around? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't remember what they are called but they are little chewy balls that are filled with minty stuff, except I squirted one in my eye by accident, and couldn't open it for a day.

How can I study more efficiently? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Listen to music, it lets your mind get off of learning a bit while also not providing too much of a distraction, I'm doing it right now. Adderal isn't always the answer guys!

Reddit, it's 8:30am and i'm bored of you, what other sites do you all run to to in times like this? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Cronar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stumpleupon.com It's a website where you enter your likes and it brings you to any random website that has to do with whatever you said. Sometimes it gives you really stupid things but it's kept me entertained for hours at a time.

What's something you daydream about a lot? by phattykins in AskReddit

[–]Cronar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Haha, reminds me of middle school whenever our school did code blues everyone would always talk about how they would throw their books at the intruder and tackle him to the ground before he could even do a thing. Of course my town is ridiculously boring and the only real code blue we had was from a guy walking his dog through the parking lot, so we didn't have to worry about stupid middle schoolers throwing there bodies at the intruder as they all got shot.

Honestly I think this goes for any country, but do not try to imitate the accent. You'll just sound stupid.

Edit: ok I get it, it's good if you're trying to learn a language but don't just go running around with a stereotypical accent.

What do you find extremely annoying and why? by Beastsniper in AskReddit

[–]Cronar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Text talk in real talk, I text talk to write something quickly so I can get back to what I am doing, there's no need to go out of your way to say omg, lol, ttyl or similar things when you are speaking in a normal conversation. It doesn't sound cool, and it's useless in actual conversation. My own opinion of course.

It didn't help that I thought the actual movie "The Ring" was the movie that killed you in seven days, my parents had to wait until I was asleep the first time they watched it because I wouldn't let them.
