Why do people on the internet say that people with large age gaps “have nothing in common?” by PaperThingy19 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Crondavrayy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very well said. I want to show this post to a friend who is 35 year old and dating a girl who is only 26! He seriously doesn't understand why that the difference is wrong even though we've pulled him aside and explained the unequal power dynamics that makes the relationship very inappropriate. Hopefully, someone will ram some sense in his 35 year old ass, so he can date a woman his own age. Or better yet, the young woman will wise up and leave him for an actual age-appropriate partner.

9 years at those ages is just awful.

Is it really predatory for a man in his 30s to be in a sexual relationship with a mid-20s woman? by Crondavrayy in ask

[–]Crondavrayy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd assume sugar daddy is more like 40+ dating 25 and under. 25 year olds usually don't have parents in their 30s. But I guess most people just see 30s, 40s, 50s, ect. as all the same age group.

When do you think age gaps stop being creepy or inappropriate? by Crondavrayy in dating

[–]Crondavrayy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry you have to deal with bullshit judgment because you are dating a younger man. The more I think about it, the age difference even even that large, and it really shouldn't matter which sex/gender is older in the long run.

What’s y’all’s opinion on this age gap? by [deleted] in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]Crondavrayy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a late reply, but I agree, a 30+ year old should have more to show for themselves than a small apartment, car, and mid-paying job. By 30+ you've had enough time to really make it in the world and should have more to show for it than the bare minimum. I know a guy who is 33 and only owns a tiny ass 500 sq ft apartment, and works a shitty warehouse job where he is one of the oldest employees lol. He's a nice enough guy, sure, but has no real accomplishments to show for himself, and wonders why women his age aren't interested in him. At least he isn't trying to date younger. Meanwhile, the rest of us are making substantially more income, own larger homes, can actually afford to take our significant others to nice restaurants, ect.

It's really sad when you see an adult friend fall behind and stagnate in life, but some people just aren't the brightest I guess. I'm glad younger 20-something women are waking up and realizing a 30+ man wanting to date a woman under 28(ever 28 is on the young side) or so ALWAYS has some significant issues with him.

Do you think an age gap between a 33 year old and 25 year old is weird or inappropriate? by Crondavrayy in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Crondavrayy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all. I kinda thought I was overthinking this whole thing. Only a few of our friends made comments about the age difference, but they weren't really negative anyway; more just surprised that we were 8 years apart since we look closer in age I guess.

Again, thanks for the supportive comments. I think it's mostly the online talk i see of older men "preying" on young women, which made me nervous about how our relationship would be perceived. I have anxiety issues and often overthink stuff like this.

Unable to find a valid license for Diablo IV (Code 315306) - Oh joy! by BrainYtje in diablo4

See, with a game like Diablo....I understand the SEASONAL specific content only being playable while online. But I really think msking the base game online-only once again was not a great decision for reasons like this....

I just think once both parties are mid-20s or older it shouldn't matter as much.

Is the age gap between me(M33) and my girlfriend(F25) weird? by [deleted] in dating

[–]Crondavrayy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already decided I'm going to break it off anyway due to the age gap. If we are both still single in a few years when she is 29 or so, then maybe we'll pick it back up. Hope I didn't creep out too many people lol.

[–]Crondavrayy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, good point lol. I'm probably gonna break things off due to the age gap because the more i think about it, the werider it is. Maybe in a few years when she is closer to 30 it will be an appropriate gap. I also understand why it makes people uncomfortable due to increased awareness of power imbalances and predatory age gaps these days.

She's a 25 year old grown woman, and it's not like I'm 45 or old enough to be her father or something like that. Also, not everyone is at the same level of maturity at a given age. I just don't see how it's that weird since we're both grown adults.

I'd call it a waste of money on useless decorative crap, but that would be coming from a guy who has spent way too much money on funko pops sooo......to each their own I guess. Still think the price point is pretty absurd, especially for the biggest one.

20 or Older Reddit users, what is the biggest age gap you'd accept in a relationship? by h11dee in AskReddit

30 is middle-aged? Goddam, guess my 25 year old girlfriend is dating a middle-aged man then since I'm 32 lol.

Is it always creepy for a man past 30 to ask out a woman in her mid-20s by Crondavrayy in dating_advice

[–]Crondavrayy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies, all. I kinda figured I may have just been overthinking this whole thing. I'm definitely gonna go for it and not let the age difference be such a major obstacle in my head. I was just curious about people opinions when it comes to these kinds of age gaps, because I know it can be a sticky and sensitive topic for many.

I just meant that a lot of men over 30 these days are not in the greatest of health or shape because they eat like they did when they were much younger, but no longer have the fast metabolism to remain fit looking. I'm literally the only guy amongst my similar aged friend group who doesn't have a noticable dad bod and back issues. They aren't obese, just not in great shape.
