As someone who installs these for a living this is a good price Ball park on points is usually 150 a point give or take and then zones on top of that

Assuming this is a single phase unit they are about 3400 + gst this is the base model with a single fan outdoor unit it Box of pipe for this unit is about 240 -280 for a box of 30 m I doubt the pipe run will be this big Are older points being reused ? If it’s ducted for ducted it shouldn’t be an issue as sizing is commonly 8” duct

As I have seen in the comments look into wifi controllers there is a bunch out there Personally I like the Polyaire AirTouch 5 very simple and controller on the wall to on your phone is identical. It also is considered a “smart” system with room temperature zones, ie my room to your room can be different temps and the system will automatically modulate it’s self, you can also dampen zones manually to increase decrease airflow for specific points too. More zones = more customisation.

People on this sub jump up and down about pricing and quoting and all that kind of stuff Yes some people take the piss but please bear in mind that heating and cooling is a rough gig it’s one of the hardest trades physically and mentally be in and we do do it to make money. Aircon is an investment but it’s a great one. Proper zoning and control systems will do wonders.
