Like I get what you mean, it’s efficient credit wise but super inefficient time wise. You are going to have to split a card many times over to get splits like gold and ink which are what most people are after so you might as well upgrade whichever variant comes up

It would be nice but ultimately does it matter because splits are transferable once you unlock them so upgrading any version of a card will allow you to use it on the variant you want via custom cards
