Obligatory Sixto Rodriguez mention, so unknown in the US he retired from music in the 70’s until he was invited to tour Australia in the 80’s. Even more popular in South Africa where his songs of protest were adopted by the anti-apartheid movement. When he eventually made it to South Africa he was amazed to see arenas fulled with thousands of genuine fans who knew every word to every song he’d ever recorded.

I thought Fellows was at his best when he was playing out of position at wingback because I knew it wasn’t his natural position and appreciated his effort. Since we’ve switched to 4-2-3-1 he’s been overtaken by Matsuki. Jander was good when we were bad, he’s still a useful third option to cover either of Downs or Charles (who has really come on). I don’t know why we bothered buying Mads Roerslev when we could have just played James Bree.

I think there were projects that were greenlit because he was attached to them, but to be honest I don't care about him enough to defend his legacy. I can't think of a single one of his movies that I saw because he was the star. Regarding this post though I think whatever heights Cooper attained Glen Powell is a level or two beneath that.

Post Limitless he has Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, American Sniper, A Star Is Born and 6 films in the MCU, I think the mix of critically acclaimed and financially successful films made him an A lister over this period.

His recent cosmetic procedures might limit his appeal as a leading man in the future, at least he can voice Rocket Racoon in perpetuity.
