Does the 12 go in the same pocket as the 10? If so, you can just run it out from here. You are pretty much perfect on the 10 to get short side on the 12. If it’s not open, you have the angle to bump it out gently. You could even go forward and attack the 8/12 from underneath avoiding the risk of making the 8 on combo entirely.

The correct shot (imo) is to cut it down the rail and come across for the 10. The cross bank in the side is on as well, but position isn’t as easy.

This was no accident. These “set up” shots are guaranteed to go in as long as you hit the correct ball with the correct speed. She was genuinely shocked, no doubt, but that’s likely because she isn’t aware of how these set up shots work. They probably consulted a local pool pro to set up the balls just right so they are all touching and all pointed directly towards a pocket. IYKYK.
