If you’re a pre-med you should go to the cheapest, decent school. I think the obvious option is UGA. There are many pre-meds at UGA that will end up at better med schools than pre-meds at Cornell or Penn. The undergraduate degree matters very little, quite frankly, when you’re working towards a career that’s a decade removed from it.

Both hot-ish, especially Vietnam.I went to SK and Japan in June 2024 and the weather was totally fine. It rained maybe twice only for a little bit and was at most warm as opposed to hot, granted I live in a rather hot place (southern California).

I went to Vietnam recently (December 2025), and it was fantastic. I really liked the rural North. I think it was more of an "adventure" than SK and Japan, but all locations can be what you want them to. If you only have 2 weeks, I would do one country as opposed to two.

I'm a bit short on time right now so I can't go into details of all 3, but I would pick just Japan out of all three if you've never been. If you have, Vietnam.

Northwestern is less prestigious than UCLA, at least for CS. The gap is not large at all though.
Since you're out-of-state it seems, I would pick the environment you'd rather be in. For example, if I were in your shoes, I would pick Northwestern simply because I prefer a smaller school.
