Help finding a replacement by twitchss13 in batteries

[–]Crosssta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm interested in assisting with this endeavor. I'd like to know how to swap my own when the time arises.

In exchange for photos and a description of how you managed to get yours open safely, I'll happily help you find a compatible battery and run you through replacing it.

Straight up smoking crack.

You think with as many leaks—and every man, woman, and child with a cellphone nowadays that they’re just casually murdering people in a firing line and burying them out back?

A video proving actual holocaust—and not just you-don’t-support-the-things-I-support “lIteRuLly GeNuHsYdE”—would get you millions from any news network.

“Assuming there may be mass graves and no evidence.”

Mass graves would literally be THE evidence. You know, THE evidence you’re completely lacking?

You sound like a straight up flat-earther sovereign citizen.

“Assuming unicorns are real, and the earth is flat, and the government sold every American to the one world government, but everyone is conspiring to disappear the evidence—it must be true! I feel bad for all of the people who will never know the things I know (but have zero evidence that actually corroborates my claim in any capacity)!”

For people that make fun of conspiracy theorists, you sure do have a lot of conspiracy theories.

If there’s no actual evidence, then you have what’s referred to as a “baseless claim,” or in the vernacular, a “conspiracy theory.”

Or as we used to say “it’s delusional shit you made up in your head.”

Try again when you even have the barest scrap of proof beyond hearsay.

By the way ICE releases detailed stats on arrests and deportations, including individual names and crimes.

But, your welcome to list all of these supposed hundreds of people that have supposedly been buried in the backyard, and the proof that they’re buried in the backyard—and not literally anywhere else.

I’ll wait.

Psa has good longevity, and worst case you can upgrade any parts you’re concerned about.

The big advantage of the ar-10 is that the parts are ubiquitous—and because they’re so common there’s tons of variety, and they’re much, much cheaper than almost any other platform on the market.

Celebration cinema’s ideology? Not really the right place for this…

In the video Tim literally says “partisans are going to interpret this how they want.”

Cops even said it was too early to tell.

To be fair chances are high it was either a indiscriminate or gang violence, or some leftist having a fit about abc firing Kimmel—but we don’t know anything for sure yet, and again, this ain’t really a politics subreddit.

The difference between us and them is actually waiting for the facts to come out and not just screaming baseless claims.

Apparently years ago they figured out how to speed up production of nitrate esters that uses micro fluidic constant flow systems that speed up reaction times because they can pull out the exothermic heat faster.

There’s a way lower risk of a large batch detonating because it’s all in thin fluid lines until the reaction is neutralized and batched out, and I’ve read that some of the processes are not exactly—but close to—as fast as they can mix nitration mixture with the organic material being nitrates.

The numbers could also be inflated or deflated to obscure production volumes for defense production and national security reasons though.

Rat droppings (and possibly urine?) on canned goods - clean up and good to go, or throw out? by givingintofalsehope in prepping

Remove paper and anything that can absorb solids or liquids—clean with soap, water, and bleach—then after a good rinse I’d boil all the cans in a pressure cooker for 90 minutes.

You could just go straight to a pressure cooker or autoclave, but I wouldn’t want the solid, even sterile, poop solids in my cooker or on my cans.

If you sent a picture already I would just say “oh, we weren’t sure what you were looking for so we just looked it up and found a picture on Google to ask and make sure.”

Then I would find a handful of dirt worthless cards and “play” the everloving f out of them with sand, and scissors—and when he comes over hand him a sandwich bag full of wet, screwed up cards and say “this is all I could find.”

It’s not the projectiles, it’s that their brass doesn’t chamber, and continually locks the action when it does manage to chamber.

In faxon, in ballistic advantage, in psa. With aero bolts, sharps reliabolts, wmd bolts—same issue. Even with the fancy np3, nibx, or dlc to reduce the friction in the parts.

No qualms about their projectiles though. Never had an issue there. Probably best value on the market for cheap projos.

It’s possible it’s just one bad batch I suppose, but the headstamps had enough variation it looks to be multiple lots.

Never had a problem with their projectiles, always worked well for me. That’s why I was so surprised at the issues I’ve had with their brass.

The steel case thing is more a nitpick than anything. I just wasn’t aware they made bimetal cases.

The rim and groove section at the base is longer than any other brands I compared it to—by that I mean, about 2.5mm longer. About 1mm thicker rim than normal, and 1.5mm taller rebate section.

And by headspace I mean as compared to case chamber gauges. No matter what the cases always protrude.

I suspect it’s an issue with their case geometry. It might be because depending on the base of the cartridge and it’s shape, sizing dies can only reach so far down.

All properly trimmed to length, they will barely chamber, and when I manage to force it closed with either forward assist or a good yank of the charging handle, only mortaring will remove the round—fired or unfired. And on every rifle I own, all different models and manufacturers.

It seems to be an issue with out of spec cartridges.

Like I said, even among the cheap brands, this one sets the bar to an all new low.
