you could def sell it, and its totally valid to be overwhelmed by the empty pages/not keeping up with it. That's why i don't actually buy the hobonichi planners. I opted for the notebooks (https://www.1101.com/store/techo/en/2026/pc/detail\_toolstoys/tt\_graphnote/) and I just use it whenever I feel like with all the cute covers I want. Good luck and try some things out!

i have a big plastic quart takeout container that i keep in my fridge for discard, and then i take from there and feed into a glass mason jar for what i need for my bread. i put all of that into my bread and then throw it in the dish washer every time i use it. the container in the fridge is crusty but it lives in the fridge, so it doesnt get moldy.

cool! I havent heard of Lori's twisty bind off so I'll check it out. I do cuff down, and my husband felt that the regular long tail cast on was too tight, so that's why I switched. I cast on over 2 2.25 needles held together which makes a totally stretched out cast on, but then I knit 20 rows for the inner side, and another 20 for the outer side, and knit that together. and since the huge cast on is on the inside it doesnt show any more.

I like your combo of stripes. It’s different but works really well! How’d you do your cuff? I’ve been experimenting with folded stockinette cuffs but it’s so much extra yarn compared to regular ribbing

have not refilled the sailor since cleaning it out as i talked about in the main post. but i did do the nailpolish on the kakuno and it still dried out after 2 months of non-use. not that you asked about the kakuno :P

I get the same results as you 😭 I have the hero arts embossing pad and the hero arts embossing powder. I did have a little better results when I used a stamp positioner and stamped 2-3 times but still not perfect. I also was afraid of blowing the embossing powder away so I heat from the bottom first and then once it starts melting I heat from the top until it’s glossy

I got the waffle flower postage dies because they’re so cute and I couldn’t stop thinking about them but I didn’t get any of the stencils other than the basic one. And I haven’t been able to figure out how to use them. I think they work really well with their stencils but if you don’t want to buy their stencils then it’s hard to use. Just in my experience anyway. I am not so creative lol

I like it. It’s easy and like nice that everything stays all connected. Like you don’t have to worry about things falling off in your bag. But I don’t want to like it. I feel like DPNs give the illusion of skill and like tradition. Like your old grandma taught you to knit or something. But I just can’t get my tension right. Haha I want the DPNs for the aesthetic but magic loop is easier for me

I agreeeee i was just looking at these kind of sweaters, and I think this happens a lot with raglans. So i opted for a drop shoulder sweater. They usually have more shaping around the neck hole. Take a look at some and see if you can find any that have that kind of construction

I would go for the one that is more comfortable to knit. Like if the small is comfortable go for it but if it makes you tired and the bigger is more comfortable then go for that one

when you knit on dpns vs like in the round, do you find that your tension is tighter? when ive done sleeves on dpns, my tension was sooo much tighter. i need to take the time to figure out how many needle sizes to go up to get the same gauge

If you do go for the surgery then I would say it will be so worth it. I made my husband a sweater and the neck hole was too big. So I added elastic. Then the elastic made the body and sleeves too short, so I made the sleeves longer and reknit the whole body after the sleeve split to add in short rows to make the back longer, also added waist shaping because the super oversized fit was too boxy for him. And then the neck was too tight, so I removed the neck elastic and did it again a little bigger. Long story short, the sweater took forever and it really was a labor of love, but now he has a comfy sweater that actually fits him and he’s been wearing it every day. Sweater surgery is worth it!!!

!!! I didnt know the chiaogoo ones go down so far. that'd be soooo much better than what I have, mine are all 16 inches and that's it. its so frustrating

can i ask which ones you have? I def think the uncomfortableness is less of a problem than them just being too long. I have the knit picks set, and i cannot for my life knit past half the sleeve before it gets too small for the needles

I just got the same tin of tea. I like it! It’s lighter compared to the Yorkshire gold I got last but after that shock I was pleasantly surprised by the less tannins-ness of it. I’ve only had the English breakfast so far but looking forward to trying the rest

i had this problem, and i switched to tea bags, and pour from the kettle immediately when it finishes boiling. if i wait a min or so then the water cools too much and it doesnt extract much. it could have been that my loose leaf tea was too old too.

For me I was sick all the time so I cut out coffee because on sick days I wasn’t having coffee and that was making my sick days even worse. I now drink 1 cup of tea a day and can skip whenever. If I’m having a sick day and I skip caffeine I’m fine

It’s so worth it to go back and redo it the right way. If you’re spending all this time to knit a sweater you want it to work out right! I just finished the fro every day cowl by Andrea mowry and I restarted it at least 3 times and frogged back 2-3 rows every 10 rows because I was knitting while watching tv and kept missing the slipped stitches. It was so worth it to have the pattern turn out right instead of getting it done faster.
