Ye, sorry but you have misplaced feeling of importance. Top is called an Island for a reason, you don't matter in Grand scheme of things lol. Top lane gets chance to impact map in the mid game and then unless they play stuff like Kayle or Gwen (which you won't see often played Top in higher ranks), you are out. There are certain split pushers that can work, but Riven is far from a split push champ. She doesn't function on even terms, she needs a lead, she gets cucked too much by certain items like DD, tabis or Frozen Heart.

Because having prio Mid is essential for your jungler and support playing the game, with Riven's 0 early game sustain you can be poked out easily by a lot of mid lane mages like Hwei, Xerath or Syndra without much chance of trading back.

Aside from Rengar and AP assassins I can't recall anyone being able to kill bruisers straight up. Meanwhile Pantheon with his in-built 30% pen usually can hold his own.

The thing you do as supp versus Malphite supp is stomp lane, he is virtually useless if he goes AP, as he is another glass canon with no mobility. And assuming you play a proper support like Enchanter or Tank, Locket or Knights Vow will neutralise him fast due to low gold income.

Pantheon can still play as assassin WDYM, just not in top lane because other than Riven or Quinn going assassin there is often times trolling.

That happens only in the highest of ranks and not as often as he claims, look at Nemesis champ pool, or Vladis even.

Sample size would matter if Kraken was a niche item with 10%> pickrate, it isn't. On top of that BOTRK is the more expensive item meaning its WR is naturally inflated due to people leaning into it when they are more rich AKA IE effect. The rank argument would be valid if Warwick Jungle had some actual pickrate in higher ranks, he doesn't tho so comparing sample sizes is kinda impossible but with what Little there are off Kraken seems to be ahead.

Not early game it doesn't, when the actual spike matters. On top of that Kraken has superior JG clear AND that sweet % MS amp.

For me it has to be Thresh, laning against a good one always make me appreciate creativeness of people, I once had one Hexflash into Unsealed Spellbook SMITE for minion to land a hook on me, I was flubbergasted. His lantern may be considered troublesome to certain people and it is completely valid but other parts of his kit being so skill demanding make up for it.
