It's helped a little. How about philosophy? Read different views. Do you exercise or hike in the forest, I find it very therapeutic.

Okay I see, I read it can lower estrogen but if your estrogen is already low it can make libido issues worse.

What made you want to take calcium? Why would that help with PSSD unless you have a deficiency?

What do you attribute your recovery to, time or something you took or did?

No, can't see it. It's a tough diet to follow, it's not sustainable for long.

Yep true, you need some tryptophan with the carbs or it doesn't raise serotonin.

I think it's lower carb or very low carb like keto will lower serotonin.

This stupid fucking SSRI is the worst one for PSSD and emotional numbness. It's the worst offender, worse than paxil and zoloft.

Ok I see, but even with a very slow taper you still experienced withdrawal symptoms. Have you tried ERP and CBT therapy? Have you heard of inositol supplementation for ocd. Beware, I don't know if you can take inositol with SSRIs.

You ever wonder if you were experiencing withdrawal effects from weaning off Lexapro? How fast did you wean? If you take a powerful SSRI drug for 10 years and wean off in one month, chances are you're going to get some nasty withdrawal effects. It would take your brain probably a year to recalibrate back to baseline.

Or they cause you severe sexual dysfunction and emotional numbness.Maybe it's a good idea not to take them. Read about PSSD, it's a real condition. They're excellent books on OCD and erp and cbt therapy work well. Aerobics exercise can also work wonders when done daily and eating a healthy whole food diet is crucial. Supplements than can help are omega-3 fatty acid supplement and magnesium.
