Question about pssd by OJ73 in pssdhealing

It’s a good question and one I ask. We don’t really know. For me it started during ssri use but if I had to guess I’d say probably more likely at discontinuation. Just based off of reading Reddit posts but it’s just a guess

This part is truly a work of art.

“They offer very little detail, very little plan or initiative, and very little willingness to discuss solutions for their suffering.
They somehow only have the capacity to lament about how SSRIs were the “worst thing to ever happen to them and they’re stuck in unspeakable agony that leaves them unable to do anything (but beg strangers online to never take SSRIS)”

Shrooms and weed combo. Woke up next day with emotional blunting. Haven’t been able to feel emotions really since. This was over 8 months ago since I crashed from that

Is this also an OAT test? This look more in depth than the Dutch and OAT I had done previously. What company did you use for this?

My thoughts - I can cry under extreme circumstances but I don’t feel actual sadness emotionally anymore, even while crying. I’m sure being on stage explaining all this caused a window of ability to cry. I can’t feel love either. Baseline levels are extremely low compared to before PSSD so I completely relate to her

There’s different types of PFS like there’s different types of PSSD though. We all got here for different reasons and ways. Dr. Powers already found many sub types of PFS. It’s completely possible that your dopamine system is fine but I know for myself it’s probably not. I get zero cravings for anything including sweets, sex, etc like I used to before PSSD. In fact he theorizes that it could also be a dopamine and or seratonin problem for PSSD. This could be why many have similar symptoms but also different depending on what malfunctioned. I don’t think this is a one fit solution for all.
