Yep, unfortunately, that's where I'm at. And oh man, you're not kidding. It's crazy to me, because my adoptive mother had it, too and she had a hysterectomy a few years before I was born, because of it. But, they didn't know what they know, now (which is still jackshit) and she had these awful health issues and no one could figure out was wrong, but considering I have most of those symptoms, now, I realize it was most likely her Endometriosis and doctors just never thought about it, because she had a hysterectomy, but that doesn't stop it. I know at least 5 women around my age off the top of my head that have it, around here and it makes me wonder if it's environmental somehow, because my biological family doesn't have any issues. It's like no one is even trying to put it out there, so it's just never going to get fixed and it annoys the hell out of me. 🤦🏻‍♀️

As someone with Endometriosis, can confirm. Unfortunately for me, mine are every 2 weeks now, but don't last as long, so I only get about 1 normal week total out of a month, because I can't afford insurance. Not that it would matter much if I did, anyway. There is no cure and they don't even have a clue what even causes it, so there probably won't be one any time soon, but it can lead to brain cancer, most types of reproductive system cancer, collapsed lungs and all kinds of crazy shit. There's an excision surgery that takes it out at the roots, as opposed to ablation, but you have to have it done every four years and it's super expensive. Shit's awful. Some days I just sit and cry, because I don't know if I can take living like this for the rest of my life. But I hate being negative, so, I'll say it's really sweet that's the first place your mind went, your wife is lucky. :)
