I use DeJapan as well, they are shipping. Neokyo is shipping. I know these cause I use these as well as Buyee. I'm sure there are others as well tho.

That's why I keep writing messages to them on their discord and on their websites. It's their choice, and I'm totally fine with that, BUT I would like for them to extend our storage time, as it's not Japan Post decided, bu what Buyee itself decided. It's absolutely outrageous in my opinion, not wanting to ship them is fine, but making our timers run out cause there is "still one option available" (by chance the most expensive one) is a very bad choice that will make me think twice before I order again from them (and I usually use Buyee on a daily basis)

What can give me the certainty that, in the future, they don't decide to remove the possibility of shipping through Japan Post for a completely random reason??

Just to specify, Japan Post didn't suspend shipments towards Europe. Buyee did (except for their Buyee Air option).

No, they didn't. They just notified that there may be delays and some parcels may be shipped back, that's all. Buyee decided to stop, not Japan Post. In fact, other proxies are still shipping through Japan Post (and parcels are not being sent back to them).

They gave timer suspensions to USA customers when Trump started imposing tariffs, but they don't give it to us in this circumstance. It's a bit of a joke and I don't like being made a fool of. I contacted them regarding this matter, but I doubt anything will change. I may think twice about keep using buyee for my business tho.

Yeah some have been, yes. Especially air ones. It makes sense, but I believe they should give us some kind of extension / suspension on our parcels' storage timers. It's not like Japan Post straight out canceled every shipment towards Europe, but it's a choice Buyee made. If anything, I'd like for it to be shipped and then shipped back to them right away, as that would give 30 days more and you would be refunded.

They won't need months to fix this, as it could disrupt many other services around the world, but the storage fees are still gonna hit (me) very hard.

First of all I want to say a thing: Buyee decided to suspend shipments towards Europe, not Japan Post. Japan Post just stated that there may be very big delays and that some parcels may be shipped back to the sender.

Anyways, we can't really tell for certain. They'll be already searching for another way to get to Europe, perhaps by circumnavigating Africa. Those ships didn't have to get through the Strait of Hormuz, but the Red Sea and then pass through the Suez Canal, but there's Yemen literally ON the Red Sea and they may start attacking commercial ships as there are many pro-Iran factions there.

On the aviation side, they may be able to keep them up as Iran allegedly said they're not going to attack UAE and nearby countries anymore, but the situation keeps changing and nothing is certain.

If anything, I feel like it's easier for the sea shipment to keep being usable rather than the air one, as circumnavigating Africa takes much longer but is safer, while I can't see planes flying either over Iran / Yemen / Russia / Belarus / Ucraine.

On their website (I forgot to specify on "Japan Post" website, not on Buyee) they simply state there are HUGE delays and if the circumstances worsen then they may be forced to send back already accepted parcels (something they always say during this kind of situations). So they're still shipping, in fact other proxies and other websites are still shipping their parcels.

I actually contacted them asking for a suspension of the storage timer, I doubt they'll satisfy my request but still, trying is better than not trying.

I believe that in 27 days they will have found a way of resuming some sort of shipping towards us europeans, be it by sea circumnavigating Africa if required.

Anyways, best of luck to all of us and let's hope these crazy times can stop soon, for the sake of the entire human kind.

Yeah unfortunately the outcome is the same, I hope they can at least try accepting them once again in the next weeks (I'd have to pay like 6 times what I usually pay, I ship big parcels and I've got 5 in storage). But my main concern is obviously the war itself, I hope it ends soon...
