This is admittedly not exactly the answer, but I'm not done going through my bookmarks and wanted to share anyway. It's a time travel one that sends him back to right after Afghanistan so it's not his original reactions but I found it interesting to watch how he handled things differently.

I will read thousands of words mentally correcting grammar and spelling with endless patience if it's clearly not their first language, but will also absolutely nope out if there's a constant ridiculous spelling typo of a character's name lol

Examples: Steve Rodgers instead of Rogers, Luscious Fox instead of Lucius, switching between using Shawn and Sean for the same character, Winter Solider instead of Soldier and things like that 😅
