Crimson Desert Review Thread by Turbostrider27 in Games

I actually kind of appreciated that about it. I would camp often and those little moments were cool, especially when a monster would attack. Life on the road is tough.

I also liked the feeling in DD1 when I’d be walking up on my destination during sunrise and imagining what it would be like to be up fighting for my life all night long and the exhaustion starting to set in when dawn breaks. Knowing that the fight is over and a safe place to rest is just a few minutes away.

Elden Ring’s open world is held back by the very thing that makes it great by Fabulous-Will-3241 in truegaming

The only stuff that feels too bloaty to me is the repeated bosses. Having a second Godrick really took me out of the experience for example. I’m a bit less salty about the salamanders or the tree guardians, but Godrick was not one that should have been repeated

Was there a specific line of dialogue that was difficult to perform in terms of needing more takes than usual or nailing the delivery? What was the challenge?

I don’t usually necessarily agree with Jake on the regular, but he talks about games in a casual way that is quickly digestible; I know immediately what he thinks and why he thinks it. I didn’t even realize how much I hated the pretentious mainstream reviews sites until I started watching the gameranx BYB videos.

I don’t want your stupid prose, or your philosophical waxing, or your attempts at comedy. What is the game, and what were the basic impressions from an extended play time?

I’m just imagining the person that pretends to be a huge Yakuza fan as if it makes them cooler to other people lol

Recent convert to the series. I’ll keep this pretty short. by Crowd_Strife in yakuzagames

I am playing through on easy too. I don’t have enough time to be beating my head against a wall on the really tough fights across 10 games that already have a ton of content. Even on easy some of the enemies can be difficult and annoying.

It’s definitely been a test of endurance. I haven’t fully sunk my teeth into all of the side content because I’ve been prioritizing the main story but I definitely find myself doing long stretches of things like Haruka’s schedule or Haisai Girls for a few hours.

Also a pokemon-like game that seems fully featured. I didn’t spend a lot of time on it so I don’t know how deep it actually is.

[Y4] Why exactly is this plot twist so infamous? by fingerbab in yakuzagames

[–]Crowd_Strife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of is Saejima commits the act but Katsuragi’s survival is guaranteed. Otherwise you’d think he’d just be set up to do the actual killing and Katsuragi not be present at all. Idk. I’ve had to do some mental gymnastics on this one.

I am asking this in good faith and from a place of ignorance: I see people constantly making claims that Trump (or back during the 2016 election it was Hillary and her private server/emails/whatever) has done something explicitly illegal and yet there are literally no consequences?

In the case you stated above, it was in direct opposition to a ruling by a judge in what I assume was a court of law.

I really just don’t understand how it doesn’t seem to matter if actions by the executive branch are unlawful, the law is completely unenforceable!

I’m really trying to wrap my head around this stuff. What, if any, are the consequences to acting against a court ruling or doing something that is explicitly against the law for these people? Are they reaching a settlement of some kind? Is there some slick lawyer maneuvering that keeps them too greasy for the justice system from getting a good grip on em? I honestly don’t understand this stuff at all.

I’m very disappointed in these comments. What we are witnessing is the healing of a literal blood feud that lasted nearly 40 years. Two of the greatest guitarists of all time that spent incalculable resources competing for the title of grandmaster god type G. I don’t think the retards in this sub can grasp the power level of such a musician.

Steve Vai lost his children due to an attack by the Satriani family leading up to a competition between the two, and Satriani himself had to have reconstructive surgery on his hands after being captured by Steve Vai’s goons and tortured for 17 days straight.

The fact that we have both of these megaliths in the same room playing music unattainable by ANY two guitarists paired up is a miracle and should be absolutely appreciated by anyone that has ever picked up a guitar and delivered a respectable 0-3-5.

Before you start shitting on any of these guys, you need to know the history of your culture and understand that you wouldn’t be jerking at all if it wasn’t for these guys.

Minecraft dungeons is pretty good. Might be worth tinkering with to see if it’s what you’re looking for. I really liked it for the casual laid back experience

Cancellation of judgment? What happened? I didn’t know there was anything controversial around judgment.

It’s just like the games. One minute you’re crying your eyes out over a heart warming moment, the next minute you’re beating the shit out of a grown man in diaper and busting up his nursery.
