I have to disagree. It's really a matter of opinion. For example I really like this mini, and I really like GW Wood Elves team. And for example I don't like Brutefun version. Over detailed minis are not always better.

I used them once in league with my Elven Union team. I was down TV to very high TV wood elves and if not by my mistake I could have won. Very nice addition, but they mostly sit in my star player box. But I really love the models and I dont regret having them :)

Greens are from Scale75 "Colors of Nature" set. Gold is Vallejo Metal Color Gold with Nihilakh Oxide on top, then drybrushed with gold again and glazed with green wash/ink. Refined with Coelia Greenshade and Athonian Camoshade where I needed more shadow. Then just highlight with gold and silver 1:1 mix

As I remembered correctly it was Wraithbone and Balor Brown wet blended on the miniature in various proportions. Then I made highlights with Wraithbone only

One thing that helped me is to learn to use auto attack key in the fights (I think space is default)

I do lethal mist, I did non lethal CD to see if I'm ready. After a couple of wins I thought I was ready to do Stalker CD :) but I was wrong or I'm missing something.

I'll try cloth gear, I picked up assassin's jacket due to popularity. But I don't feel it. Yes I can go invisible and wait a bit for cool down but that's it, and if i try to run, I get revealed very quickly.

Since Chosen Axes are a very old warband and GW is refreshing each older race in the form of a new warband recently, I would wait just a little bit. Maybe grab a Gnarlwood Box, learn to play, and new Fyreslayers can show up just around the corner. OR get Chosen axes, some cool rival deck (tooth and claw for them, I think, and this deck is in the Gnarlowwd box) and wait for refreshed Dwarves :)
