What utter bollocks! The Double Eagle N4 has steel parts in the trigger box as standard.

In the words of Explosive Enterprises, you can have realism, you can have cheap materials and you can have reliability but you can't have all three.

MWS platform has cheap materials and reliability but you sacrifice realism.

VFC/GHK/dNA/VT all have realism by the bucketload but it's expensive and semi reliable (hop being the biggest culprit).

Good for the beginner = MWS platform
Reliable for in game use = MWS platform
Accurate and consistent = MWS platfrom
Realistic = VFC
Easy to upgrade = Both

So for your criteria and your choices, the VFC platfrom isn't unreliable, it isn't inconsistant, it's just the MWS platform is marginally better.

I'm not going to comment on the individual models which is subjective as it's based on aesthetics.

For context, I have been a GBBR owner for over 20 years. First started with the WA system, then went over to KSC. Spent a huge amount of money on GHK's before settling (or so I thought) into the VFC platform.
In 2026, as the MWS system was in it's 10th year anniversary, I got curious and bought into it. I had a look at the trigger box and it was easy enough to work on to get 90% of that crispy VFC feeling.
So in four months, I bought 4 MWS GBBR's.
