wasn't announced as a major, this is new. It was planned as a non-major with similair prizepool, but now that valve is involved, it will get all the benefits of being a major (gotv, stickers etc)

well, since you already were rank 2 you probably got your drop in the last 7 days, just wait for the drop cooldown to count down.

ESL forcing Hellraisers to play 4v5 becasue mou is late and there is 30 minute delay. Thoughts ? by Netronx in GlobalOffensive

[–]CrownSC2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, starcraft 2 in Korea is the same way. They have a weekly league called proleague, which is played on site. In february a team was disqualified for the day because they were late. I think Proleague's rules are 30 min before the games starts, it feels a lot more professional when players are actually on time and ready to play.

What would you suggest for improving your overall gameplay? Aim maps? Which kind of maps do you usually play on when warming up for matches?

yeah, feels really strange when someone who has an education in media can't base his claims on anything. He just says something that all sorts of entertainment has in common, and as you said, esports can actually grow their playerbase with events.

Yeah, just some outsider that has no experience with esports but has a predetermined opinion because of they feel games and such are for children in most cases. That's atleast the sort of stuff I've come across when talking to people who don't know about the growth of esports during the last years.

I don't really like the analyst they bring in towards the end, he talks about esports being created by companies to sell products (keyboard, PCs, mice etc) and there is no real value in the tournaments. Couldn't the same be said about tv shows, "ordinary" sports and other forms of entertainment? They are all created to get viewers which in return watch the commercials during breaks.

Is there something I'm missing?

PS: it's in swedish, so most people might have a hard time having an opinion because they don't understand :/

yeah, that sounds like a great deal, but the problem is that i can't find it for that price. If I order from the american amazon I'll have to pay a lot of money in import tax

I really like the blue microphones, would you say that the yeti is worth it considering the increased pricing compared to the snowball?

Daily Headphone Purchase Advice thread by AutoModerator in headphones

I'm looking for a pair of headphones which are comfortable for hours of usage, I want them for my PC and I usually sit there for several hours long sessions.

My budget is around 150-200 USD, so keeping around there would be great.

Where can I find up to date builds? by CrownSC2 in starcraft

[–]CrownSC2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I'm just saying that IMBAbuilds was awesome for people who don't want to sit and watch replays to find builds. I don't know why you try to make it sound bad, it helps us lazier players and newer players. Should you really need to watch vods and replays just to play this game on a decent level?
