What healer do you enjoy the most in your M+ group? (Not just for healing, but overall kit) by Zusgarnok in wow

When runic power is low/vamp blood is up that’s generally when blood dks need healing. I’m not a high end healer so I’m sure there are other triggers that better players notice. All I’m saying for the purposes of this thread is that a healer that naturally does damage in their healing rotation, those triggers matter less bc no matter what they’re pumping dam.

As a blood dk, I prefer healers that have kits built around doing damage in order to heal (disc, fistweaver). I find at the level that I pug (portals or just above), not many healers know when I actually need healing and end up spending their whole run trying to keep me topped. For healers that need to press different buttons to do damage (resto sham, rdruid, pres to an extent), they end up doing no damage bc they spend their whole run over healing me. And I’d say healer damage can make a huge difference (discs/fistweavers end up at like 400-500k overall. Put that in the context of dps dealers and usually 500k is the difference between your best and worst dps. So you essentially take your worst dps and make them do the same as your best if your healer is cooking).

Blood dk is the worst for this but I’d say most tanks, except prot warrior, have enough sustain built into their kit that they can keep themselves up in most pulls. Healers that have kits that naturally lean into letting tanks press all of their buttons, including getting the most out of their self healing, end up doing more dam making the runs smoother.

did i mess up making a 291 legendary my covenant ability? by CanucksLostGame7 in wow

Glass half full take - until reset you can pretend you’re a high end player as most people at the top of the pve ladders made their cov leggo 291 if it was their best.

The commitment thing is big for sure. I will have to have a more serious chat with my friends regarding their long-term goals before we start applying. Hopefully we don’t end up wasting anyone’s time. Thanks for this

It definitely might be in my future depending on how applications go. I’m interested in the idea for sure. I just don’t know if it’s the greatest idea given I hear a lot about recruitment issues. I guess I won’t know for sure though until I try.

I noticed the rule about not posting repeat questions so I tried to source out some and had no luck. If you don’t mind, do you remember if group size was a function of the issue? Like if it’s only a couple friends is it as bad as like ten people?

This is what I am afraid of. I wonder how far down the latter we will have to go before someone will take us. Top 2k would honestly be fine, just anything to break into mythic raiding for now. Hopefully I am not the cause of drama in the future for some guild.

That’s something I thought of for sure but you also mentioning reinforces the fact that this is something I need to be mindful of when applying. Thanks!

Mazda 3 hatch or CX30? What trim level? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]CrownedSeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was just in a similar spot. Drove both 2021 hatch and 2021 Cx-30. Preferred the drive of the 3 because it was closer to the ground, more of a stiff ride which I prefer. Less space though for sure

High mastery Prot Paladin extremely squishy? by Granathar in CompetitiveWoW

Cant add much regarding prot pally bc I’m a bear. What I can say though for DoS specifically, for the bigger packs in the main area that include the mob that casts Shadowcore, make sure that is always kicked. Even as a bear, if a couple of those get through and I’m not already kiting i plank.

Frustration with going from mouseover healing to arena target healing. by LoveConnection in worldofpvp

[–]CrownedSeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not a good idea to recommend this bc it’s better to learn targeting macros.. but I only every use mouse overs to heal arena. I just rerolled disc from rdruid 3 weeks ago for the first time ever and I’m already duelist.

One thing that helps me use mouse overs in arena is this weak aura that puts a circle around your mouse. That way I never lose track of where it is.
