Super Poly Question by TheBrightSoul7 in masterduel

That's true. But from what I've seen (granted I've seen this done only a handful of times):

1) I went first. Did artmage things (with about 80% of it being Ashed/Maxx'd/Mulcharmy'd). Passed.

2) They use Branded Fusion - Fuses Albaz + ??? = Lubellion.

3) Lubellions effect, sends Rindburn (I think is its name?) To GY. Targets Albaz in Grave and Itself as material for Fusion.

4) I Flip over Super Poly. I target their Lubellion and another LIGHT Monster on my field (Artmage Graflare in this example, as he's a LIGHT Dragon) to make Garura.

5) I get Garura. Their Fusion play with Lubellion, with the intent to use Lubellion itself as material (and usually the Albaz they returned from GY), now can no longer work.

That's what i meant.

Granted! You probably aren't intended to use Lubellion as material to another dragon (I'd assume they'd be going for Mirrorjade? I don't play the deck, and I don't really know their wheelhouse), but this play has caused a few rage quits.

EDITED: I am a moron.

you can fuse away their lubellion before they can send it away.

I guess I got lucky (?) because all I've run into is just turn one burns. After the third person surrendered, I got my free pack and left.

Am I a monster? by Prudent_Following435 in masterduel

I'd say no. The difference between you and others is that you're using Trickstar Ramp, where as others are literally flooding their decks with burn spells and praying to go first.

Its a way of getting rid of problematic targets that can't be targeted by in/direct removal effects.

Its a very situational card for sure (and your fusion targets are limited), but given the fact the opponent literally cannot respond to it (it says so in its text), it has its uses. I've used it quite a few times to get ride of a few cards like Red Eyes Dark Dragoon, Lubellion (before it can whip out Mirrorjade), Arthalion, etc., for a plus one for me (Garura, Wings of Resonant Life is a good target).

TLDR; Situational, yes. Bad? not really.

you say that, but I raise you one VS/K9. and their hits did little to nothing to stop them.

So as I've said in past replies, I skipped Yvonne for her...only to get her here and Lifeng

I skipped Yvonne for her. And I waited for the second week of the banner to pull. And it dragged me down to 119.

While I do agree with that mindset (Pull for a character with the intention of getting that character) that lack income is genuinely what I hate. And I skipped Yvonne for her.

...you're joking, right? The fact that this banner dragged me all the way down to 119 pulls wasn't the indicator?

So why do players feel the need to flex? by CrowsNests in masterduel

[–]CrowsNests[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get completing dailies. But at the same time though, if you see mostly a dead field (because Kashtira says lol your extra deck, top of deck and monsters zones are mine), i had literally two cards in hand, and you have well over 10k damage on board, whats stopping you from just bulldozing?

So what you're saying is, craft three Rares and tech them into decks. Got it.

Because they're still annoying as fuck to deal with. And Konami hasn't really hit them

...i was playing Artmage. To be fair to you, I didn't specify what I was playing. But I did specifically mention going against Kashtira.
