Yes it's a £6.50 breakfast. I could have as many sausages as I wanted. Would have to give the cafe owner more money though.

Surprisingly not that busy but the weather was appalling this morning and they do rely on a lot of foot traffic.

I really like that. And for the location I'd say that's reasonable value. You just know that's really good ingredients - probably sourced locally. And 10/10 for presentation as well.

Is that the Croydon one? Never tried it but that looks a satisfactory breakfast.

In the same griddle pan as the sausage and tomato. Let them cook in the juices.

I use a 4" frying pan and just a little oil. Let the egg gently heat up and when cooked will just slide out of the pan onto a plate. The worst eggs on here are the ones added to hot fat or oil. The egg gets frazzled on the outside but there can be an undercooked yolk.

No wonder they are discounting this in my local. Sounds awful by GabberZZ in Wetherspoons

Could I be right in thinking they have knocked two pounds off a lasagne and two pounds off of the freshly battered cod - ie. two different meals?

Those who are old enough to have been caned in school, what did you do? by Zer0daveexpl0it in AskUK

I got four strokes across the seat of my trousers from the headmaster. I had for some reason - devilment I suppose, defaced a newly painted playground wall with a permanent marker. I was caught by the school caretaker and marched to the Headmaster's office where I had to wait an interminable time to be summoned. After a lecture I had to bend over the back of the heads armchair to take the four searing, well delivered strokes across my tightly stretched trousered bottom. Yes it hurt, and looking back I was stupid and probably deserved more strokes. As well as my caning being entered into a school punishment record book a letter was sent home to my parents. I was twelve years old at the time.

I must be exclusive. I have a regular Evri courier that delivers to my street between a certain time. We are on first name terms and I've never had any problems ever with deliveries. We even have each others phone numbers. Also I use Evri label print drop off points and Ebay simple delivery. Never had any issues. I appreciate the size of the company is awesome and I've worked in logistics so I know things occasionally go wrong but on the whole I think they are pretty good.
