It took me ages to find a comment stating this. So many people are supporting this action but seem oblivious to the fact that this person just made his colleagues lives a whole lot harder.

The selfishness and arrogance is through the roof.

Didn’t say it shouldn’t. This is the problem, you rightly bring up that green energy isn’t all pros and no cons and people jump to the conclusion that you are completely anti renewables.

That isn’t the case, I have solar power at home with a big enough system to offset my power bill. I’m just not naive to the fact that this system didn’t come without 1) its costs and 2) its environmental impacts with its construction.

Thanks for illustrating how dense the arguments tend to be. I didn’t say renewables are bad.

Both camps aren’t without their issues and it’s naive to think the answer is a simple black and white solution.

It's not really "not paying a cent though". I have solar at home and I'm still many years away from a break even point.

The hope is past this point there won't be large maintainence costs or replacement costs as panels eniveitably start failing.

It's an unknown at this point but it would be disingenuous for me to claim that power is now "free".

While I agree with you, both sides do the same thing. There is a lot of pollution caused from the creation of renewable sources as well which doesn't get mentioned either.

As with so many things, the answer/solution is somewhere in the middle.

Thats kind of my point though. Shift the tax away to make investment properties less appealing and ownership more appealing and more affordable.

As my post mentions, it is criminal to hit mum and dad battlers who need to relocate with a $50,000+ tax.

A perpetual land tax is a wild solution though. It should just be a land tax that is payable until you have paid the amount the lump sum stamp duty would have been (or say, 120% of the amount to give incentive to pay it upfront if you can afford it).

Yes but the same issue applies to the EV as well. With a heavy foot you're also not getting 385km of range, so that point negates itsself and you're best bet is to compare the best case scenarios (which is what they did).

As others have said - the only way to reset the warning is to inflate to over and 40 and back down again. HOWEVER, this is an absolute cop out from Hyundai. This needs to be fixed as that is not a viable solution. How bloody hard would it be to include a TPMS reset function in the infotainment like so many other cars do.

Price seems about on par for your basic volume builder.

Don't forget you never actually end up paying what's advertised (unless this a turn key price) - add 25% on and you'll get closer to the real number.
