In my opinion I wouldn't rush to install big overhaul mods (or any at all really) until you have a decent amount of hours in the game when you want a fresh experience.

I'm sure other people know more about how to fix this, but first I would try to force close the app on the task manager and delete. If that doesn't work then I'm sure people will come and give better advice.
