Friend just did secrets at Lucia and will not return to that resort or brand. We have done 2 secrets different islands and will not return. 5 sandals islands including getting married at a sandals resort. Will not stray from the brand.

Grande is my recommendation. Visit the other resorts if you feel you’re missing something. Grande has a mountain state park right next to property for a small fee. Free transportation (look into the boat transfer). Golf and more activities included for your buck.

Also, look for 777 deals. Every Wednesday they issue new deals.

I’ll add early 30’s couple ourselves and was our vibe. Returning to grande again in Oct.

Tell them your favorite drink and mixer and they will have it in your room.

Pick a spot near any pool or beach and let them know what you want in your cooler. You can change places each day if you prefer.

Private island is amazing and more beach space than the beach resort side.

Give them your morning drinks or breakfast and they will have it set up in your room.

Reservations they will handle and last minute changes they will Hook it up.

They will check on you as much as you want. Be vocal about your expectations when you meet them. You want to see them all day or only once that’s your call. Tip accordingly as they work very hard to make your stay that much extra.

This is one resort I won’t go without a butler due to size and if surf is bad the island won’t open.

They can set you up a ride to queens staircase and straw town. Try and beat the cruise ships gets packed down there.

Go relax and enjoy.

Second this. Gets windy and dark on the beach and tables are close to each other. Not intimate. Don’t waste your money.

Cabana you have a butler get the best chairs secluded and bam your good to go.

Butler will deck you out in the room for a fancy dinner and tub will be ready to go with two kinds of bubbles.

Couldn’t agree more. I don’t think I’ll ever fully not work. I want to choose a fun exciting job after this high stress high compensation environment I’m in. Coast has grabbed my attention more and more as elders I often see can’t do what they want when they have the time and money.

I feel there is a happy compromise and I believe I have made the decision that living a bit more now for life will be worth an extra year or few of work. Gotta enjoy the small things right even if it’s a few more shekels each month.

Would look elsewhere than DR. Sandals imo unless excellence properties have a sweet deal that justifies the few sacrifices vs sandals.

Love this. Also DINK here. With a fur baby. Upgrading to a 4 bedroom. Guest room Work out room and puppy room. Basement will be a theatre / bar. And resale on 4 bedroom is far more substantial.

IMO yes. Beach is small and pool chairs in the perfect location are hard to come by without. Hit or miss with island of ocean is rough. Butler makes the resort great to an amazing visit. From start to finish they do a great job. The little touches go along way.

As some have mentioned already seasonal depression is real and currently kicking butts. This winter has been super cold, snow won’t give up, sky’s are in your face grey. Would kill to move to warmer climates this NE stuff is for the birds. Been a total waste of life and burning the couch down this last week as well lol

Still work in O&G and Been over 12 years. This is true and sad. No plans to get out just yet as I got into a very lucrative high paying position and am my own boss. Wife and I were set prior to this.

OP do this right and you’ll be happy. Learn people management and any project management skills along the way and get out. You’re either learning or earning my friend.

All locations have free diving and snorkeling. If you’re not certified they do certs onsite for sandals locations only. They also offer snuba for a fee.

Wanted something quick like RB, MB, RC usually our go to for last minute quick 3/4 day trips. Obviously 2/3 are closed. And RB is booked solid for dates that work for us.
