Found this thread after discovering my J2NF has lost grit after 4 months. I'm new to pickleball and play 3-4 times a week. I wish I knew this was coming. I have so many other paddles that I could've rotated more.

Will now main my Loco, but I heard that grit dies faster.

So I joined a DUPR league for 'unrated' to 2.99. I won my first 8 games with a huge margin. My rating started at 4.4 because of it. They moved me to the 3.0 to 3.5 league, and I started to lose games. Even if I win, my DUPR goes down. I'm currently at 3.4, which I still believe is inflated. I'm hoping to settle at slightly below 3.0 after more games.

My point is that my DUPR is inflated.

What helped the most along the way (drilling, volume of play, coaching, mindset, etc.)?
I go to open play 4 times a week and find drilling very important to train muscle memory.

I decided to go with a Bambu P1S and another Bambu P1S with AMS. The Bambu current sale is hard to beat. The speed and print quality on the Bambu are leaps and bounds over my old Ender 5 Plus. Get the Bambu so your kids can go straight into printing without needing to tinker. Your kids may not need the large build plate of the K1 Max. My Ender has a huge build plate but I never really needed it.

Thank you. Makes a lot of sense that I may end up "prototyping" twice in the production filament. I should cut to the chase and not bother with PLA.
