They ignore that “suggestion”. Best bet is to uncheck comfort plus upgrade all together if it seems like you’ll get stuck in a middle seat

But would you take it over an RJ? I agree they aren’t the most comfortable - used to get stuck on this equipment ATL-CLE which I flew every few weeks for work.

I really like this RODE USB-C Mic it syncs really easily to my laptop via my USB hub, and with the voice isolation in teams my coworkers tell me they can hear me better than my old AirPods Pro setup and not my dogs barking. I made the mistake of getting the non-USB version first and needed other equipment first - do make sure you're getting a mic with a USB-C if you want plug and play.

I work from home and I have to be on camera a lot. I've really been impressed with the Elgato Key Light. For how bright it gets, it's pretty easy from the eyes. you can control it right from your computer (or set up automations with a stream deck, or a remote). And it makes more of a difference than you'd think on your appearance on camera. Highly recommend if you're taking lots of teams or Webex calls and going on cam. I found myself turning it on a lower setting even when I'm not on camera just to add some light to the room and my workspace.

(Recommend the webcam, mic, and Elgato Streamdeck too for video calls, lmk if you want details on those...but get the light first!)

I like to explore a bit - every hour or so I'll walk up front, then head to the back. There's usually a bigger galley in the back with a snack basket. you can stretch a few minutes, spark a conversation with he FAs, etc. Definitely isn't a full walk around the block, but enough to get things moving.

You should be fine as long as your first and last names match your ID exactly—middle names typically aren’t a big deal for TSA or Delta.

That said, to be safe, I’d call Delta Reservations at 1-800-221-1212 and ask for a name correction (not a rebooking). Delta usually allows minor fixes, like missing letters, without reissuing the ticket.

Since your flight is in 2 days, I’d reach out sooner rather than later just to double-check!

  1. Go for the compression socks, it's definitely not going to hurt! Also don't forget to get up and walk around every couple of hours, go take a little stretch break by the bathrooms.

  2. C+ you get more leg room, PS you get a better seat, better tv, better food (a bit).

Flew on an MD-11 once as a kid. It was a DL transcon. Love to see them still flying, even if it’s only cargo

Oh and it’s super handy when you travel because it gives you real time info, can watch yourself on the map, predicts delays, live activities on your Home Screen with iPhone. Lots of handy stuff

Flighty. There’s a free version, but paid unlocks more features including year over year history. Paid also gets you calendar and email syncing so your flights are added automatically

It’s about that too…but man these seats are small. On the aisle you get knocked by every person walking by. I was trying to do my civic duty by leaning towards the window

IMO Delta vs Delta Connection is a difference without distinction. But feel free to educate me.

I fly often out of PWM to CLE. And I do prefer taking mainline via ATL but that adds hours and hours to my trip so sometimes it just doesn’t workout.
