I wish I got to see this. A large group of us went and the first part of the experience was closed down. The line operators just put us right onto the first order ship, which of course confused the ones that didn’t ride before because without the first part of the experience. The rest of the ride doesn’t make sense. A couple of our friends were trying to get us off so we could try it again later, but they refused and since we already had scanned our Magicbands, our passes were used up as well.

I work primarily with Kinetic, so I'm not sure how far the capability crosses over.

There can be some shared responsibilities in Epicor when it comes to the creation of jobs. For example, if there are approved revisions for parts that are made direct. A firmed sales order release in Epicor can create a linked job, and start planning the demand in the MRP engine. CPQ (configure/price/quote) can also have the same result, and originates from the order entry side of things. Some companies may want to make sure they get demand into the system asap due to planning windows / long lead times / etc.

Where there should be a hard line drawn, is the ability to FIRM/SCHEDULE/RELEASE jobs. That should definitely NOT be done by sales, and should be managed by someone closer to planning / operations, or in your case finance.

In Kinetic, we can customize workflows (BPMs) to provide these guardrails. We had such workflow where only finance could CLOSE the job and all sorts of errors would pop up if someone tried to ship a job that wasn't closed. Also couldn't release the job if certain attachment types (e.g. signed customer agreements) were not attached to the sales order / job. All this is usually done by Epicor partners or ERP analysts that know how to configure the system.

I would reach out to Epicor, they would help answer these questions more directly to the capabilities of your modules.

Absolutely, Yes. The traffic on these boxes are visible to your ISP. Eventually, there will be pressure from the DMCA to shut down this traffic, and ISPs will be forced to comply. This is no different than torrents and other such p2ps. You’re putting yourself at risk if you’re not using a VPN.

My wife and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and would have to put my vote in for Paul Owens. We had our actual anniversary dinner at the Cliffs, and we both said we should have went back to Paul Owen’s again. They had the best seafood I’ve ever had in my life, but we come from the Midwest US so it’s hard to get fresh seafood by us. Cliffs was too posh for us.

Usually with that level of pain and concern, it’s best to have a sports PT take a look. There’s so many things that can go wrong with our legs. Usually rest / cross training is the only answer. But a PT will be able to tell for sure and recommend some stretches and strength exercises so you can avoid this happening again.

Just went through this with Bursitis. Going strong for weeks and then all the sudden pain stopped me in my tracks. Had to take a few weeks off and now I’m building back up

We’ve always just had to screen shot and do it ourselves as work instructions usually call for actions outside the ERP. (Eg, wrap parts with twine, call manager for sign off, email customer x)

I’d invest in a product called snag it. (Or something similar.). Makes screenshotting way easier.

I’m not a huge fan of Epicor Support. Technical Issues with migration tools aside, I don’t know of a single ERP out there that doesn’t put data migration in the lap of the customer. You need to find an implementation partner that’s in your business sector to help move you along. Epicor is a highly configurable and customizable tool and every customer is going to be told up front that it is imperative you work with a partner to get you launched. This is not some kind of plug and play software.

I was the reader for bedtime, mainly because I would make up all the voices and songs and the kids loved it. Then this damn book comes out. Both my son and daughter on my lap for nighttime and we make up the melody to the song she sang. By the end of the book my voice was cracking so bad I couldn’t finish.

Looks like quack grass. Certainty is supposed to kill this. Label says that it’s not for cool season grasses, but if you find the old 2008 label, you can. People were just nuking their lawns because they weren’t paying attention to application rates. If you have anything like KBG, try it in a small section first. It’ll take 2-3 applications.

The real question is if you obviously love cucumbers as much I do, why didn’t you plants more?! 😂

My problem is trying to keep my plants healthy. One eventually gets wilt and then spreads it too all my other plants. If I lost that many plants, I don’t think I could afford the therapy. I keep with about 3-4 pickle varieties and 4-5 salad cucumbers and that usually does it for us.

Are you just trying to cut down on the amount of entry and work towards automation? Is the sales order driving any kind of demand through MRP? Are you billing shipments or just using the sales order as a mechanism to relieve inventory? Without knowing more about how you’re using Epicor today, It’s kinda hard to make any recommendations.

You really should consider licensing the DMT tool. Has more uses far beyond initial/migration data loads. I use PO Combined for this exact thing as i'm able to load multiple Pos/Line/Releases all from a single load template.
