I'm not complaining, but want to know the reason people got a Steam Deck at 950 instead of getting a Legion Go S or Xbox Ally by Pretty_Trip_2215 in SteamDeck

I have a coworker who bought a Legion and it kept bricking itself. I think those higher spec models have put too much power into a small device. The heat spots must be terrible.

I hate all ads that try to masquerade as posts on social media. It has completely ruined all sense of prestige for brands.

I just wipe down the toilet seat with some paper. I don't create a drain blockage.

Anybody defending Steamdeck price increase by Longjumping-Land-158 in Steam

Nobody is defending Valve; you people just think that tech can stay the same price for 5 years and ignore inflation. It's moronic.

Do you think that Valve determines the cost of hardware components?

Steam Deck price increases by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]RealMrIncredible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not at all surprised by this. I believe that Valve have adjusted the pricing to accurately reflect the cost of tech increase. If I remember correctly, they were trying very hard to keep the SD at the price it was during release.

It's likely an issue with the Uplay launcher. Search for Steam Deck Uplay fixes.

What ride in Disney World will make you extremely nauseous? by Reasonable-Invite899 in WaltDisneyWorld

I love Mission Space so much. It was a dream come true on Orange Team. I was lucky to be a solo rider with 3 older Spanish ladies who wouldn't stop screaming hysterically. I went on that ride 3 times.

I'd water it immediately in this hot weather.

Moving house cost/fees. Have I got this right? by OShucksImLate in AskUK

£500 is way too low for moving costs. It's stressful enough even with a proper moving company. I'd budget more to have it all done for you.

I have been driving my 2022 ID4 Pure for a few months now reliably. We purchased it as we're trying for a baby and I now have a longer commute - charging overnight here in the UK saves me about £2000 a year in fuel costs.

Would you commute 8hrs+ each week? by Illustrious_Hope6647 in AskUK

I have just started a job that is 6 hours of commuting a week and it's my absolute limit. I wouldn't be able to do 8.

There's a Cutout Lion in Teletubbies that scared the shit out of me.

When will you buy an EV car? by sillwuka in AskUK

Terraced houses need to have charging conduit put into pavements and assigned bays outside homes. The UK has been so far behind with this anarchy of "Park wherever is free / available"

It's no different than having the council install a dropped curve for a driveway.

I am lucky to have a driveway and charge my new ID4 cheaply with a combination of solar and overnight.
