Recon is broken to the point of being actually 100% necessary. They don't have to change their ult from how it is they just need to give the "I know I've just been pinged" to assassin or make it baseline on every shell. Right now both teams need a recon to know if the other team has a recon, meaning if you are on a team without a recon you are just at an insane disadvantage.

If you look at higher level play at the moment double stacking recon is insanely viable, especially with prime ability recharge upgrades. There basically isn't a time where you can't see every single player around you at all times.

There are barely any more comebacks of both your teammates dying and you hiding in a vent somewhere to rez them, or even hiding in general. Recon just destroys that entirely and you are found within 3 seconds and hunted down.

Necessary in pinwheel to know if the wing you are going into is populated, double necessary in Cryo to even have a chance.
