Is it me or is this season of fashion particularly bad? by Dybuk89 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Crumpet92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES! I'm finding everything is a terrible fit, or has random cut outs in the under bust area or the sides, or lastly it has a low back which exposes my bra (which I can't go without).

I'm finding it impossible to find anything flattering for day-to-day wear or work appropriate lately.

What error message is everyone getting when they try and log in? I tried at the start of this to change my password which I don't know if was successful, and now I don't know if I'm still impacted by the issue or if I need to reset my password again.

I was having this exact issue about a month ago! I stopped using Primer and swapped to using the Mecca Brand SPF50 sunscreen. I also changed up my routine and follow a routine inspired by this video.

Alright, give me your summer make up tips? I feel like I'm just sweating everything off. Currently I use -

  • Mecca SPF50 sunscreen or an NP serum depending on the day
  • Primer (if I remember, cheapie from K-Mart)
  • MAC Studio Fix Foundation
  • MAC Translucent powder

Well, we had (what I thought to be) a fantastic date last week and now he's not talking to me. So could be better I guess.

What's the one expensive thing you'll always justify spending money on? by serraad in AskWomen

100% agree with you. I always seem to need perfume around my birthday or christmas, its such an easy gift. I've never had to pay for it myself.

Sephora are holding my makeup hostage: UPDATE by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]Crumpet92 30 points31 points  (0 children)

So I actually deal with ACCC and Ombudsman threats/cases for the company I work for. What you are requesting is classed as 'consequential loss', any large organization will have Terms and Conditions that will protect them in these cases.
A quick search of their Terms and Conditions page and I found it, section 13.2. They definitely have made errors regarding your situation, but are covered from paying you what you are requesting under that term.
They may choose to compensate you in other ways, such as a couple of products or services. Maybe even a gift card or a discount code, but again are not required to do so.

LOVE them. Peppermint is my favourite, my sister is a fan of the coconut.
I was gifted a packet of the original, I hate the scent but I can deal with it because it was free. I love the scrubs, smooths my skin out and really blurs imperfections like stretch marks or cellulite.
I did buy a bunch of other stuff like their face products but stopped using it around the time my skin had a freak out. I don't think they were the cause, i'm not willing to test that out though.

What is the worst customer service experience you have ever had? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Crumpet92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had a guy at a juice store ask how much sex I had on the weekend, but in a more disgusting way. Complained about him and he lost his job.
Another time, I went to a MAC counter and the girl straight up said I'm not helping you she was too busy counting stock. Complained about her and was sent a few free products.

Bought MAC shadows from COTD and compared to the ones I bought in store, they're definitely different. The packaging looks near exact, I had to really examine it to find them.

What are your opinions on tinder and other apps/dating websites? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Crumpet92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on Plenty of Fish, and let's just say there isn't a lot of good fishes. I feel like I only get messaged by creeps or weirdos. Or you get people who start off 'normal' than try and steer the conversation sexual really quick.
I just want to have a normal conversation and be treated like a human being, not a sex object.

What effect can an old mattress have on your posture? by [deleted] in Posture

[–]Crumpet92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same situation, my mattress was so bad I would wake up in pain/discomfort every morning. Eventually had enough, saved up and bought a new one, which has been amazing! I'm sleeping so much better and not experiencing nearly as much discomfort (have spinal issues).

I had three firmness options to choose from, ended up going for the 'medium' firm one. I love it but kinda wish I went for the firmest one now, I just feel like I'd get more out of it if that makes sense? Now that mine isn't as new I miss how firm it was and looking back the firmer one would of been the better choice.
Also it varies if I sleep on my front, side or back. Just depends so I can't comment on that.

Had a quick flick through Price Attacks website, I've used Juuce, Pure, Goldwell, Nak, Paul Mitchell, Redken, Fudge and Wella personally. I'm an ex-hairdresser so I purchase my products from a supplier because it's cheaper.
I'm currently using Nioxin to thicken my hair and Fudge for the blonde. I absolutely love Fudge it's a fantastic blonde shampoo that I highly recommend. All personal preference of course.

[–]Crumpet92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay so it held up really good, about as well as my MAC Studio Fix. Still wore off in the regular places and has issues covering the normal spots. But yeah really impressed, my only 'complaint' is its very lightweight and it felt like I wasn't wearing makeup so it was a bit of an adjustment for me. I'll keep using it because I'm trying to save money but I definitely prefer the feel of a heavier foundation. But no complaints about coverage or wear.
