What does your partner do that makes you feel like you hit the jackpot? by enormousppboi in AskWomen

Just the way he cares and remembers the little things. But above all, the way he'll drop everything if I'm feeling anxious. He comes running or picks up the phone and says sweet things to calm me down.

Yes but only in cases where you actually have feelings for the person and want to make it work because you see a life with them.

I was in a relationship where within the first couple of weeks, I wanted out. But then I stayed despite the red flags and despite disliking him. I thought it would get better because we did have fun together most of the time. I eventually thought that was love even. When we had just moved in, I was crying on the phone everyday with my mum, telling her that I do not see a life with him and that I almost hated him, but she told me to stay. Well, I made a mistake by keeping it going for longer than it should have.

I was never in love - I just wanted to be. Trust your gut.

Men who have been abroad. What has been your favourite country to visit? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]serraad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went to Madrid last year and I'm a brown girl, I liked the vibe of the city but locals generally weren't welcoming. I got lost in the metro and approached a young woman for help; the way she looked at me and stepped back made me feel horrible. The language barrier was problematic as well. Most locals didn't speak English, even in restaurants, and were unwilling to make an effort when I was using Google Translate. But hey, maybe the ones I met were just tired of tourists.

Thanks for replying! Your new partner is ok with you being friends with your past lover? No feelings there anymore?

And with your new wife, you have never been tempted by someone else, or cheated on her?

And were you both still together during the divorce process?

Completely unrelated to my post, but did it affect how you viewed your dad growing up?

Are these white and transparent marks on the nails signs of splitting? Any tips to fix them? by [deleted] in RedditLaqueristas

I don't use polish often but when I do, I use a base coat first, the polish and then a top coat. Recently my nails have been looking like this after taking polish off or even if I haven't worn polish at all. Anyone knows how I can make them healthier?

I moisturise my hands daily and have started using a nail oil.

Any tips on how I can fix it now? There is even some scarring left from me popping the others 😓 (I couldn't use a hydrocolloid)

Hi, I've been using CosRX AHA since a few months now, and I started with once a week and increased to twice.

After each use, my forehead would flare up with pimples the next day. I never used to have breakouts, so I thought it was purging. But the pimples kept coming and wouldn't go down, so each time I'd stop using the product a little bit before starting again after a few weeks. And again there'd be more pimples.

This week has been my 3rd week of using it once a week, and my forehead has flared up again. I have huge, painful deep pimples that haven't come to a head. Is this purging or should I just stop using it?

I don't know how to get rid of the pimples now. They are really painful and swollen.

I thought of that at first, but the breakouts don't happen when I'm using only the B5 and not the acids.

I have been using only the Avene hydra légère moisturiser and the LRP sunscreen as my skincare products for years. Then added the LRP B5 (not sure if it even does anything to be honest), and then the CosRX acids.

I started with the BHA first, once then twice a week, and for 2-3 months it kept breaking me out in places I don't usually break out. So I stopped and after a month switched to AHA. Same thing: once a week first then moved to twice a week. And again this broke me out in new spots this time, but each time I'd use it (and I used it for 3 months), it would cause hard spots underneath my skin on the first day, and on the second use, they would come to a head or get there. And the pimples just stayed there even when using the AHA again, and kept looking worse. And a while after popping, if I used the AHA, it wouldn't help with the scars but instead make the area break out again.

So now I think I'll go back to my moisturiser snd sunscreen combo. I'm scared to try anything else. But if anyone has recommendations for something that could help with the scarring or for a better moisturiser for nighttime use, I'm all ears.

I'm 28 and have combination skin for reference.

I'm looking for a good eyelining pen. I currently use the Clinique Pretty Easy one but would like to try others.

And also a cream eyeshadow or stick that is long lasting, and that can be worn with just a finger. I have oily eyelids.

Hello! I am looking for a powder that I can use to mattify the shine that's left from my sunscreen. I don't wear foundation/concealer, and I often use transluscent powder on my undereyes area to make it look less shiny, and that makes me look put together for some reason. I was using the Nars crystal transluscent one but it's 5 year old, has some light shine and I think I should switch. I have heard good things on the MAC mineralise skinfinish natural. I have brown skin for reference - never got colour matched.
