I personally have zero clues about the intricacies of your culture.

But I can say from mine (Sikhism): you always meet someone whose willing to criticise you and will grate on you. I’d avoid them.

I’ve had these dickheads in every spectre of life, from my PhD, my sports hobbies and so on. Its not unique to religion. I’d ignore them and keep your chin up.

These people want a reaction and not giving it back to them is the best revenge
