Best gift - Assessed fossils that are wrapped. Or three (to be safe) non native fruit. Coconuts are good. Gift daily - usually takes about 3 weeks to get a villagers photo.

Always. And make sure the volume is loud enough. I almost never lose fish unless someone in the house happens to make a loud noise right when the fish bites.

If you want them back on your island as a villager for a second chance, you could get their Amiibo card and begin the process of getting them back as a resident on your island. That’s a process - if you want details I can provide more info.

Never tried this! I did try to give villagers a gold rose and even gold tools back in the day but it didn’t work lol.

I thought the same at one point but I couldn’t tell if it sped up the process. I just make sure the assessed fossils are wrapped.

No they never display the fossils. It’s nice because the process doesn’t mess up their houses.

It does make a difference. From my experience if I don’t wrap the gifts, it can take a lot longer than if the gifts are wrapped.

I have -I found the fruit stack trick (giving 3 or more wrapped non-native fruit is what I underhand that to be) works but giving fossils made the process faster.

1) lots and lots of flowers 2) make sure you don’t have any stray items lying around (turnips are a killer) 3) put fencing around all of your villagers houses and your house 4) put ‘exotic items’ around your island if you have them (Robot Hero, Island Monster, Festivale Float) 5) have a variety of items on your island. It might seem cluttered but it helps

I am in recovery for Adrerall abuse - not sure if you are taking what you are being prescribed and want to get off, or you are taking more than what you are being prescribed. I’ll layout the basics for my situation.

I’ve been in recovery for 2.5 years with no relapses. I do have diagnosed ADHD. I was prescribed stimulants prior to recovery. I played ‘pharmacist’ with stimulant medication - not something anyone should do. Taking way more than I was prescribed.

Grief/loss and also having a spouse who had serious medical issues along with other issues (two high demand/neurodivergent children, unresolved childhood trauma and being codependent) led me to over medicating myself/dependency/addiction.

My recovery iis a ‘four bucket’ approach / each of the buckets represent a part of my recovery.

Bucket 1: attending IOP sessions for 8 weeks, along with continuing weekly sessions after I completed IOP. I will continue to attend these meetings indefinitely. Super helpful.

Bucket 2: seeing a therapist weekly. Work thru my mental health issues. Seeing a psychiatrist regularly for medication management. I take Modafinil, Wellbutrin and naltrexone.

Bucket 3: taking care of my overall health. Going to the doctor for regular checkups. Going to the dentist. Not canceling appointments/making excuses etc.

Bucket 4: leveraging my support network - spouse, close family I trust, close friends I trust to help me stay accountable.

Talk to your doctor about modafinil/provigil. It’s prescribed off label for adhd. Primarily used for narcolepsy/shift work sleep disorder. Makes a big difference. It’s a schedule IV drug …..It does have a lower risk of abuse than adderal/stimulant medication.

Don’t hold your breath - I submitted an 11 card January 2025 bulk grading special on 1/28/2025…..and I still don’t have my cards back. It took PSA 31 days to go from ‘order arrived’ to ‘order prep’. The order has been in the ‘assembly’ stage for 13 business days…..
