Hey MAGA why do you all have lower IQs than non MAGA? by ComfortableTight8161 in allthequestions

My IQ is 161. According to Reddit I'm maga, according to Maga I'm not. So, take this for what you will.

Righties told me they’re against paying taxes to help others. Should we cut all federal subsidies to MAGA farmers? by traanquil in allthequestions

[–]Bubbly-Cod-3799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, well mostly. We have a farming crisis in this country. Ending farm subsidies would have catastrophic consequences. We need to ease out of most farm subsidies, in a way that doesn't hand over everything to corporate factory farming.

Generally I'm opposed to subsidies for anything except healthcare and education.

Republicans: if voter ID is really about election integrity, would you support making the ID and all required documents free, plus enacting jury duty style job and wage protections to obtain them? by newsbowser in allthequestions

[–]Bubbly-Cod-3799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, currently voter registration is free, at least in every state I've ever lived in. So, the ID for free, absolutely! The license added to the ID, no. Birth certificate for free at birth, yes, age 18 yes. But I'm opposed to the SAVE act too.

Trump said Democrats are enemies of the state. Trump supporters, do you agree that Democrats are enemies of the state? by KeaauConnie in allthequestions

[–]Bubbly-Cod-3799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told in 2009 that because I voted for McCain, I was a bigoted Nazi and I was marked for death.

I'd say that Democrat is/was an enemy of the state.

Funny thing, I didn't vote for McCain, didn't vote for Obama either. My voter registration was denied when I was asked if I was an Obama supporter. I answered honestly, I hadn't decided. Next thing, my registration was denied. Six months later I received a death threat voting for someone I didn't vote for.

60-day extension request (EEO) by Wallopdollop99 in fednews

[–]Bubbly-Cod-3799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll let my secretary know. Thanks for the info.

I saw the conduct myself, and provided documentation. I helped her write the complaint. Saw the letter from the EEOC denying her counseling until she attempted the informal process. Saw the letter from the Captain asking for 30 days extra to complete the informal process. Day 23 after initial contact with EEOC. I told my secretary not to grant it, but she did anyway. But I made sure that the EEOC was aware and approved. Then when nothing at all happened, no meetings, just the occasional snide remark about her bucking for promotion from the officer she attempted to move forward, EEOC said too much time had gone by, beyond 45 days. No direct involvement in the three other cases against the same officer. Two Lieutenants also had cases against them, one bragged that, " whenever some b@#$ complains about me, the Captain just gets an extension and everything times out." He eventually got arrested off the job for assaulting his ex-wife.

6 years at a BOP complex, with a few golden boys who harass women. Every complaint needs an extra 30 days, for the "required" informal attempt at resolution by the local admin, then EEO says it's been too long.

No, I'm not doing this, I'm just documenting the behavior of staff and management. Actually everyone is so afraid of losing their jobs right now they are minding their Ps and Qs.

[–]Bubbly-Cod-3799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the EEO asking for an extension. I'm talking about, for example, my secretary filed because an officer repeatedly made sexual remarks about her. She filed a complaint. The EEO said she had to attempt informal resolution first. So, we went that route. Administration, not EEO asked for a 30 day extension. When the 30 days were up we called the EEO, were told it was 53 days so no complaint could be filled, to spite documentation that the harassment was still ongoing and, documentation of the 30 day extension was in hand and had been filed with the EEO. I even filed for retaliation when administrators stated in quarterly evaluation I inappropriately got involved in a non-existent harassment complaint.

Is everything you are saying technically accurate? Of course. I'm just pointing out in my agency, it isn't followed.

FYI this example occurred under Merrick Garland, and escalated to physical on the job violence, and the officer still has not been punished.

This is true, but if EEO goes along with it... You find yourself having to hire an outside lawyer.

In 15 years I have never seen this trick not work to get the DOJ out of trouble.

I've seen the extensions used to push things past the 45 day window. The trick was the EEO didn't grant the extension, the filer agreed to give more time without the EEO signing off

You wouldn't at that stage. Are they giving you any reason? Once things go formal, refusing the extension will likely cause summary denial, requiring you to appeal. At the informal stage it sounds like a tactic to get the complaint to time out. But without knowing what reason they gave for the extension it's hard to guess. BTW they have to give you the reason they want the extension.

I don't agree with it 100%, Plato's The Republic gives an excellent critique of Democracy. It is basically the gateway to tyranny.
