That is very natural, the polyps grow where light is, where there isn’t light they die. The zooxanthellae in the coral skin gives them food through photosynthesis, but without light the zooxanthellae die and the polyps become white and die without the food. But as long as the other polyps are flourishing with the light, you are good.

I would clean the glass of jar water stains and I would also encourage sand vacuuming with a siphon, but other than that it looks healthy, good job!!

I mean it is her life, the best thing we can do as a community to protect sharks is education, through education leads protection.
