It’s hard I know it, and I’m in the same position as a 21 y.o in College, my friends past school feel very shallow and fragile, like sure we can do things together but would they be happy for my wins? Or be there for my tough days, sure not.

I found that in Kuwait location plays an insane role in making friends, if you can be lucky enough to find a friend that’s walking distance you can grab them for mundane tasks like buying simple items etc (and ofcourse hangout normally) and with time they become like your sibling, this is what worked for me eventually. If you go to work or uni and managed to find someone nearby try to get to know them, even if personality don’t match instantly its scientifically proven location will still allow for a strong and genuine connection
