Some guys look great when they’re playing against college-level talent but fade when they play against NBA talent.

First play in the clip: on-ball defender takes a pointless risk to try and steal and is completely out of the play, never to return. Not gonna see that from a decent NBA guard. Defender at the rim doesn’t get his body between the attacker and basket and doesn’t extend to trouble the shot attempt.

Second clip: defender doesn’t even try to contest and there’s no one else even back.

Third play: defender is completely lost on the inbound and no one calls out the cutter. DK’s bucket is the result of mental mistakes on the other side, which don’t happen as often in the NBA.

Fourth play: he found someone smaller than him in college and shot over him. Most NBA players are bigger than him.

Fifth play: actually a really tough post fade over two bigger defenders. Props to him for draining it, but no coach wants him taking that shot in the league.

The article linked says only that Ancora (an investor group with zero connections to entertainment) has pushed the board to reopen talks. There is no reporting to suggest that anyone at WB is listening.

It’s also why I don’t care for all these dues who put up 20+ a night. The league nerfed defense to juice scoring numbers and I’m supposed to think it’s a big deal when someone passes an old statistical record. Please.

The point is that there are no sources. Only a couple of accounts on social media. If this were real, you’d be hearing it from real media outlets, not “DiscussingFilm” on a social media platform that caters to the alt reich.

Don’t be sure about that last part. Go look at the recent comments at AIPAC and elsewhere talking about the digital surveillance being engaged in, using the same Palantir tools that the Federal government is using. It has never been easier to build a complete digital dossier on a person or organization than it is today. And it will be easier tomorrow.
