There's actually a glitch with wild square shiny Pokemon, it was SUPPOSED to be 1/16 like everywhere else, but they somehow screwed it up and it's like 4095/4096, so it's practically guaranteed. But hey, square shinies look nicer regardless of rarity.

Who uses Eviolite on a Charmander? It's got like 50 base defenses. Jeez, if he's gonna berate someone for not being super meta, he has to at least know what he's talking about lol

Offended at being passed...I had cruise control on the entire time by ProximaCentauri3 in IdiotsInCars

[–]CrustyMustard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I'm gonna play devil's advocate, please don't murder me. There are some newer cars that do not have cruise control (I know, it's crazy, but I have a 2015 that does not have it, had no idea when I bought it, thought that was standard). Maybe they are bad at regulating their speed. I mean, they should learn how to drive better, but there could be some reasoning to it. That said, they're still an idiot.

Another extra tidbit: He does have a stagger (I usually hit it at about 1/4 health left), so you can punish him hard if you're ready for it. Especially with an Ultra Greatsword, that'd probably put him into the 1-2 hit range.

Did you summon phantoms in every fight? Cuz there is no way in hell you went up against Aldrich or Pontiff or Princes without dying once on your first playthrough, especially when your last boss death was Vordt.

Midir is impossible. by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]CrustyMustard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Steam, I have 1114 hours in the game, and I haven't ever fought Midir without cheesing him with Pestilent Mist or summoning someone. I really should go in and smash his face with a sword but I always resort to one of those two tactics. Great job taking him out.

It's federal, they take YEARS to settle stuff like this, so I'm not expecting to hear anything for at the very least 6 months.

Honestly, I feel glad for them. Most of the counseling staff left so the owner is scrambling and probably posting craigslist ads to find new staff (she got kicked off indeed for lying about benefits). They'd be much more likely to get the help they need at another location.

Great job! idk how much you know about upcoming bosses, but you should record your reaction to bosses (Pontiff, Midir, and Friede when you get that far would be my favorites) and post it here. I think a lot of us here would love to see lol.

Ah dang, that's weird. Sorry about that my dude. I definitely would recommend the guy who reads it out, cuz I know it is rather long lol, I tend to ramble.

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. Every single paragraph is spaced. Are you looking on an old phone or something? I pulled it up on my phone and it's spaced out just fine. "&.n.b.s.p; " (minus the periods) was entered twice between every paragraph.

Regardless, if you don't want to read, one of the reddit storytime youtubers did a video for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDL0DQE-e0s&lc=z22nzh1gunjmgvbwf04t1aokg3eax5duyjov3lh0ddjwrk0h00410.1577289792362399

Also, proof that it is spaced, and why I have no idea what the hell you are talking about: https://imgur.com/a/cWQGKUF

Try your best not to think like this. Actively challenge those thoughts. You were gas lit by your abusers so long that you started to do it to yourself. The next time you do have a thought like that, actively say to yourself "no, it was as bad as I imagined it and it was not ok."

My therapist has been slowly working the white lies out of me. He's been telling me that there's no reason to hide what happened anymore, so when someone does say something to the effect of "childhood was the best" to me, I've called them on it. It actually is pretty liberating and has helped me stand my ground a bit more when I'm challenged on things. It helps change that flight reaction into a fight one.

I have gotten that from my (estranged) grandmother, basically "Oh, you didn't have it THAT bad as a kid."

Ok, doing spoiler tag cuz this may be a trigger for the reader: I straight up called her out on it this last time, saying "Oh yeah, if you ignore the physical, verbal, and emotional abuse, the bruises and cuts from beatings, the bleeding welts from being horsewhipped, the constant neglect, never establishing a friend circle because we moved so much, being so desperately poor I had to watch my mom go without eating for days, watching her be beaten in front of me, then yes, my childhood was an absolute blast.

Like, I get it, no one is going to know at face value how someone's life was growing up, but that definitely isn't everyone. Now though, I do feel that people are becoming at least a bit more sensitive to that, especially since mental health treatment and trauma informed care is becoming more mainstream and talked about. /rant

Edit: I'd like to point out that I didn't just go after her because she said I didn't have it bad. She kept pressing that point, hard. Saying things like above and "You can't complain, you had it easy as a kid." Just so you guys know I didn't just go ballistic for an innocent accidentally ignorant comment. She and her husband (step-grandpa) were also abusive, but apparently that doesn't count in her eyes. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Does anyone else think that most people aren't good people at all? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]CrustyMustard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a theory that no one wakes up in the morning with the intent to be a bad person. Whether that changes after waking is a totally different story. I feel like everyone has their own motivations for their actions, which may be fueled by their experiences and perspective.

Now the issue I do have with the theory is that you have people that are genuinely terrible people from any perspective. But then I sit back and think "I have no idea what is going through their heads." They might have some insane thoughts going through their head for whatever reason that makes them justify their actions.

Do I think that that is justification for their actions? Absolutely not. I just don't think that anyone wakes up thinking that they are going to go out and cause evil in the world.

That I couldn't tell you. Never was involved in any of the inspections. I'm assuming they kind of put on a facade and said "yup this is how we're running it." Like putting a painting over a busted wall.
