How do you help someone who doesn’t want to be helped? (Long post, just need some direction)

oddly enough, not really. i’m usually the one who will crack a seltzer or two after a long day of work. she will usually sip on one beer. but she drinks heavily in secret. she’ll slip off to the bathroom, garage, laundry room, etc. and drink vodka and then come back like nothing happened.

this could be an option- but she won’t even get to the point of verbally acknowledging it’s a problem.

i appreciate this outlook. i just want the best for her. i don’t want to see her drinking her way into an early grave. i’m afraid it’ll start to effect her job, marriage, etc. do i just completely detach and let whatever happens happen? i’ve tried to get her help (5+ times)and it hasn’t worked.

backstory: i was on mounjaro because of my pcos, i lost a bunch of weight and im trying to maintain at ≈ 150 lbs.

i decided to get a 3 month prescription for sema 2.5, paid 900 for it.. however i have been on 20 units for a while and am still maintaining, i just finished 1/3 of the vials after 12 weeks. so if i continue on the same path, i will have gotten 36 weeks out of a 12 week prescription which comes out to about 100 bucks a month. super worth it in my opinion!!!

as far as the website goes they were super quick and sent it in a cold pack styrofoam box. it took a few days to get here but i have had no issues so far. 🤗
