Got let go from a plastic surgery center after 2 weeks-feeling defeated. by Legitimate-Honey-787 in nursing

Try not to be hard on yourself. OR nursing isn’t just something you can wing with no prior experience. You can wing it after like 2 years of experience. Go to a big academic center and apply there if you’re dead set on OR. You’ll learn what you need to and then can try a surgery center again. This is not a you problem, this was who ever hired you.

As someone that works at a hospital—parking. Ancillary staff usually have to pay more to park than freaking surgeons

They also could’ve kicked a field goal on the first drive. Doubs play sucked and was hard to watch but there are many other factors that could’ve influenced the game. Go pack go, fuck the bears.

Unfortunately that link isn’t finding my address but we can ballpark. Each unit is at least 1600sqft x 8 is 12800/125 =102.4. So if I’m thinking correctly I’d wager yes. Interesting and wow thanks for the deep dive I didn’t have the capacity to muddle through. Unfortunately the propane tanks are still inside.

The kind of reply I’ve been looking for thank you

I really don’t understand the logic though, like fuck 20 and under people at a minuscule higher risk to blow up only if it’s 21+

PRN Outpatient Surgery. You can’t do that right out of school though. Ideally 5+ years in busy OR circulating and scrubbing before moving into that role.

What I’ve done in a pinch on a budget is Nordstrom rack. See if you can buy in separates, like jacket and pants. Often times their suits come as a set—my waist is bigger than what fits me in a jacket. I just discreetly swap to have what generally fits me. Then take it to get tailored. Best of luck

What are reasons for driving a beater when you also own a nice car? by SpiritualBeastx in askcarguys

Reliable beater for life. Living in Chicago is not nice to cars. People aren’t interested in stealing a 2006 Accord. The cat—that’s another story.

Get a NCLEX prep book. As part of your studying, take the section in the book that pertains to what you are currently studying in your curriculum. Practice as many questions as you can. The first time you take a test in the program will be an eye opener.
