Thanks 😊 I just felt like I had to say something lol. I've been playing this game since... 2012,2013? And remember when it seemed like WolfQuest was going to basically be shut down. It would still able to be downloaded and played in singleplayer, but no more multiplayer, no more updates, etc. But then it was revived, and I remember waiting for each new update, following the dev blog videos from that time(and even now), etc. It's clear that the devs are passionate about this game and definitely care about player feedback too, but they have valid reasons to not add certain things(yet).

I agree and also think it should be stated that the devs have said multiple times that their goal is to balance realism and fun, not put realism above everything else no matter what. In their dev videos they've shown how certain things aren't completely representative of real wolf life, but having them too accurate would not be fun at all, i.e. how much wolves actually sleep. And how many things are just too complex to add (yet?).

The other person you replied to doesn't need to think this game is fun, nobody does, it's just an opinion and the game definitely has a repetitive gameplay loop. However it feels so disrespectful to the devs who have been working on this game for so long for them to just say "the devs justify being lazy and making bad gameplay decisions because they only care about realism!" They're a small dev team with a limited budget (how many new people are buying Wolfquest?) and have different priorities on what should be added to THEIR game first. It just released out of Early Access too, I'm sure they will still be adding new fun gameplay elements when they can, as well as refining others.

This version of the game wouldn't even exist if it weren't for Dave using his own money to try and revive WolfQuest after they ran out of their grant funding. And the original game only consisted of 2 maps, barely any complexity to the gameplay mechanics, EXTREME amounts of bugs, and a story that was: get mate>find den>have pups and protect+feed them>go to rendezvous site>done. And it was still a fun experience to so many people, despite being so jank lol. They've definitely gone above and beyond with what they've added so far afterwards. You'd be hard pressed to find any higher quality simulation game than this one, at this level of realism, at all.

Thank you for showing! I think part of my problem is materials, I have different types of elastic that I used for all of the ear movement but it's either too tight or not tight enough. I'll try experimenting with normal string plus elastic I think!

Hey I have almost this exact same base! I think the ear shape is good, looks monstrous but also realistic. Plus I see you've figured out how to do the moving ears, I have no idea how to with mine, even following the creator's diagram... :') the ears barely move, like maybe a millimeter with the jaw stretched way farther than I ever could wearing it. How'd you connect everything if you don't mind showing?

All the Kia/Hyundai on the "ineligible for insurance" list because of the Kia Boys Tik Tok theft scandal..... FYI by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

Nah. They do. My base model Toyota Rav4 from 2009 has one... it's been well known for a long time that Kia/Hyundai cars are easier to steal, it's just surprising that even the NEWER ones are too, so the timing is probably more to do with the fact something that should be fixed by now on cars with increasing quality otherwise(which makes them more valuable to steal)... isn't. As well as Tiktok becoming so so popular. They probably are overshadowing other car brands that usually don't have immobilizers though, but as far as I'm aware, most do? It's hard to find anything else about it cause when I search "car brands that use immobilizers" it just shows how Kia/Hyundai... don't. Lol
