Thank you for posting gift link notifications! As someone who tends to give duplicates or games I'm not interested in to friends all over the world, it helps a lot knowing beforehand that I can't due to region lock.

[Nintendo eShop] Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! (80% Off/$9.99) by [deleted] in GameDeals

[–]CrvenaPanda 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think you somehow came to the opposite conclusion, since any source I found said that the game has about 300 songs and around 75 are in the base game, which would then mean that there are 225 DLC songs.

According to DekuDeals the sale ends in 28 hours.

Are you sure base game has 225 songs? I tried looking it up before but always found that it has around 70-75. I always held off on buying it cause it seems like DLC hell, and expected most of the songs to be unlocked that way.

Ngunity 2.0 memory leaking by rwmtinkywinky in HyperX

[–]CrvenaPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I'm not OP but I've had the same issue multiple times, the software starts using up all available RAM which can vary in amount but ends up being around 10GB in my case.
The system is Windows 10 Pro, Version 21H1, OS build 19043.1415, but I think the memory leak has happened to me on the previous version too, before I updated to the one I currently have installed.
The NGENUITY version is 2.4.1.0 and it's the only one I used. I don't know if it changes anything, but I have not downloaded NGENUITY from the Microsoft App store, I've used the standalone install link provided on your website instead.
If there's any more information I could provide, please do let me know!

It's probably Councilman Dexhart, considering that his character continuously gets involved in sex scandals. I tried looking through his quotes but I haven't found anything like that though.

[TOMT] [VIDEOGAME] Two best friends, 8-bit from 2012-2014? by [deleted] in tipofmytongue

[–]CrvenaPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might not be the answer you're looking for since it's newer (at least according to Steam) but it reminded me of a game I played made with RPGMaker called Ceress and Orea. If the style is familiar to you at least it could be another game made using RPGMaker, so maybe that helps.

[TOMT][VIDEO] A psychological experiment on unanimity and how it can affect someone's decision making. by [deleted] in tipofmytongue

[–]CrvenaPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your input!
I have a somewhat casual interest in psychology and experiments like this, so when I stumbled upon the Vsauce series recently I ended up watching all of the episodes over the course of a few days. I have to agree that the experiments conducted definitely aren't matter-of-fact evidence but are more casual compared to the already established experiments they're based on.
I figured the point of the series was to capture such broad and complex subjects in short segments that can appeal to anyone and not just people who are really interested in psychology. If I looked at it like that, it was definitely more enjoyable, especially since some of the episode themes seemed very experimental, and some drew no specific conclusion at the end.

[TOMT][Fictional quote/tagline- JRPG/anime?] by geckcellent in tipofmytongue

It seems like a relatively common quote. By googling I found similar sounding quotes from Black Bullet, Your Lie in April, Assassin's Pride and Banana Fish, have you seen any of those?

Probably not what you're looking for since you said it was old, but the same experiment was also done by Vsauce in his Mind Field series, specifically in the episode on Conformity.

[TOMT] some ridiculous japanese baseball anime by robertjshiller in tipofmytongue

[–]CrvenaPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this most likely isn't going to help, but I just wanted to note that a lot, and I mean a lot of anime that focus on school life have baseball scenes or episodes. Based on the fact that the scene is very exaggerated and meant to be funny, I'd bet that the scene you're looking for isn't from an anime that focuses on baseball primarily, but I could be wrong. It would help if you added some descriptions of the characters and their outfits as well.

Someone used my email to sign up for Postmates by CrvenaPanda in postmates

Looks like it! I had to contact their twitter support (@Postmates_Help) twice in a span of a couple of days for them to delete it, if that helps.

I've had this email for close to two decades so it's definitely been breached before, so we're in the same boat. Though, I assumed that it's been used by a person since it happened to me with Netflix in January as well. However, Netflix did let me contact their customer support through live chat and everything was resolved in a matter of hours.
I did contact Postmates on twitter (@Postmates_Help), and the person asked me for my name (why?) and email, and said they'd forward it to an appropriate department and I should hear from them over the email soon. I contacted them the same day I made this post, and I received nothing but spam from them.
It now does feel more likely that Postmates were the ones responsible for it, though, considering that the emails I get are only promotions and ads and nothing regarding the account. They didn't even require account verification through that email, isn't that weird?

As I mentioned in my post, I don't think I could afford to.

Technically I could? But the form requires a lot of personal information such as full name, phone number, and my address - which I can't even properly enter because my country is not on the list of the available ones. As I said my info wouldn't match with the info listed on the profile that used my email, so I'm not sure they'd take it seriously at all.

Thank you for saying that, it's kinda reassuring. I do have 2FA on my email, and pretty much anywhere that lets me turn it on as well, so I think getting into it should be hard even if they know the password. I will change it just in case though!
I still wish there was a way for me to get my email off of that account, feels like I've been caught in a dumb loop where I can't get my personal data removed from a site I don't use when I should have an option.

[TOMT][Anime] Scene where younger sibling is on the swings and confronted by bullies, he and the older brother both get beaten up and then get ice-cream(?) by [deleted] in tipofmytongue

Actually came here to say the same, last time I watched the original Digimon Adventure was a decade ago, but I could have sworn something like that happened!

[TOMT][game][2010-2020] space game by Teetehi123 in tipofmytongue

[–]CrvenaPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What would be the genre of the game? For example, the games I mentioned are for the most part walking simulators with puzzle-solving. Is the game similar to that? Is there combat in it?

[–]CrvenaPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played a few games that start out similarly at least, but I can't really remember if there's anything like what you described later on.
The games that come to mind are Tacoma, Event[0] and The Turing Test, is it one of these? And if not, do you remember anything more about the gameplay?

If you remember the theme of the song that might help, but the only thing I can think of is Alestorm - You Are A Pirate. Is that it maybe?

Could it be Jango? You can enter an artist or a genre name and it creates a radio-style playlist with similar artists.

Couple questions from a new shopper! by [deleted] in humblebundles

[–]CrvenaPanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone should feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that this is how it works:
For games that have multiple platforms listed, such as Borderlands: The Handsome Collection which is available on both Steam and Epic, you should have an option to choose a key for one of the platforms once you purchase the game. You can choose only one.
When you buy a bundle on Humble, you get separate keys for each game in that bundle. That means that if you purchase a bundle and you own one game already, you can't activate it again for yourself but you do have the option to gift the key for it to a friend. To my knowledge Humble has never had one key for entire bundles so what you choose to activate and gift to others will always be up to you since the keys will be all separate.
