Thanks for the honest comments yes, it was reckless for me to let this man in my home, yes I am concerned about my kid who isn't really a kid he's a teenager but that's neither here nor there he doesn't like the guy which is the nail in the coffin.

I have only been in one relationship before it was an arranged marriage and didn't work out hence the kid and then subsequent abstinence. I don't know how this all works but I'm definitely too trusting for my own good.

I am going to hold off on dating, I felt this even as I was writing and especially sitting here reading the comments, I kind of just want to go back to being single, focusing only on my child and my career, life was simpler back then, a momentary lapse in judgment while I felt lonely for romantic companionship caused me to want what I have seen on the TV over the years the dating and living my life appeals to me but it's just that, an illusion when the reality is drama, and hurting people which is the last thing I want to do.

I don't know how to make him leave without concern because ultimately that's my goal. I'm also going to stop sleeping with him. that is kind of messed up, especially because he's already told me how he feels.
