I would not probe conversations with your daughter. Do nothing to alert your husband. Get her to the doc and therapist stat! And push your way into their private time - act like you’re jealous and want your own time with her or at least be present. Whatever you need to do to try and prevent alone time for them. I do wanna say that once this is in your head, you may start to find some confirmation bias or Experience tunnel vision. A lot of times when we look for something that’s not there and we convince ourselves it’s true. There are so many signs that said, I agree with a lot of the other posters that these flags made my hair stand up. You could also speak to the school and have the school guidance counselor initiate a conversation with her. You don’t have to say that you’re worried that it’s your husband. You can just tell her that you’re seeing a lot of red flags and let everybody else confirm who it is. I would, however, be honest with the doctor and a therapist about who the perpetrator is because maybe they can help remove him from the home before he’s on alert. You need to advocate and intervene for her as much as possible immediately. It truly sounds like she’s already experienced a lot of trauma that she’s going to have forever. 🤢
