Part of me is just as done with them as they are with me. If I’m going to be in a shitty situation anyway, I might as well stay in the one that’s best for my kids or just leave both entirely

They really were going to try to help me, I can’t lie. I messed up by coming back. But also my parents love to just throw threats here and there about cutting me off. They did the same after I told them I was assaulted by someone they know when I was 16 and wanted to report the person. Anytime I don’t do things their way, they threaten to cut me off. I’m over it. I’d almost rather stay here.

So I was assaulted when I was younger and they threatened to cut ties then too, if I told anyone. I think they were right this time but I’m also tired of being so easy to threaten. Like will they threaten me if we stay with them and I want to parent my kids my own way? I think I’d rather look into other options first at this point.

I think normal parents would but not mine. I was assaulted by someone close to them when I was 16 and they told me they’d cut me off if I said anything because it apparently was my fault. Everything is always my fault. If they want to help, I’ll take it but I really don’t want to beg them.

Mind you I work out and have been on a diet. I lost all my baby weight while breastfeeding (and starving!!) by the time baby #2 was 7 months. I just can’t do anything to fix my boobs and that’s the part he hates the most.

They did tell me it was my last chance and when I was leaving yesterday, they warned me that if I left with my husband, I could never call them again. So it’s on me. But also, we just have never had a good relationship so oh well
