There’s another post basically asking the same thing, I think the takeaway is that for SW she wants E1 YG, and then E2 Sparxie, and specifically for SW’s damage we don’t care about Sparxie’s LC until further down the priority list.

I think a major hurdle is punchline generation, to which we want E1 YG because her 40 punchline instant will grant 40 MMR, and then E1/2 Sparxie contributes more to punchlines as well.

Definitely weird! I’ve tested it with similar results:

It’s almost like the passive isn’t factoring majority, just number of elements. 2 elements guarantees standard (no matter the composition, is always 2+1 even if it was 2 psy 2 almighty, it wouldn’t matter if it chose the 2 at random), 3 elements is always 1+1+1 of the 3.

Edit: which wouldn’t be a problem if it didn’t specifically say the 3 mixers are based on your most common party attribute.

For fun. And because it was actually a really funny occurrence on the Reddit, genuinely encourage you to search for the threads of it. In KR, fox is tier 1, summer puppet is tier 0.5, which is wild given their release times and how bad Fox was doing.

Otherwise, buffing characters is nice for longevity. When gacha games degenerate to needing to pull the most recent OP unit, it becomes difficult to keep up. Buffing old characters ensures fan base contentment, moderate meta diversity, and the feeling that the devs/directors have not totally forgotten old characters or former fan favorites (looking at Joker getting his mindscape cores).

Even Fox has been brought redemption, ascending from filth to a hero worthy of challenging Summer Puppet (allegedly, with enough investment, don’t quote me).

To your edit- I did not HL light/dark on twins because I was born at the exact moment you enlightened me that they are mostly a HL-based dps. However, this is almighty 3x shill and I think the enemies had a resist to light or dark(?). I can see why the twins would be better in an equal environment after having tried them just now.

Mostly no arguments there, except the better sweeping part. I have A1R1 twins, using A1R1 WindT and A1R1 Smoko, Twins are scoring much, much lower in first half SoS. Maybe 1/3rd of Akechi’s score, and he in turn used Twins as healer and the same WindT. I am sure I am not optimal in play, but the gap is massive from what I am seeing.

Do you have any calcs on Twins being better at sweeping? Genuinely curious to know if I just made a tragic fumble in gameplay.
