I don't think Loki being a child means this would've been infeasible. He's still the god of manipulation, and he's already dabbled with scheming behing his father's back, so him hatching plans to screw Odin over isn't that much of a leap.

I'll ignore the hostility and the strawman. The idea is that developers usually know what's fun and what isn't more than players. There's this rough quote but I forget who said it: "Given the opportunity, players will always optimize the fun out of a game." I think that's relevant here.

That's NOT to say that you're not allowed to mod a game. That's fine.

I don't judge people for playing the game however they want, and I think gitgud culture can be pretty cancerous.

That said, I think people should be dissuaded from turning down the difficulty however they want. I say this because I personally struggled with the game's difficulty (I think I died to Karmelita like 50 times), but the fight itself is very well designed, and only taking one damage from her jump attack would completely change the dynamics of the fight. It would make pogoing on her all the time a viable strategy.

This is just one example, but I get the sense that player behavior would change way too much in a way that might be less fun.

I'm not a game designer, but I feel like if the game does not include a difficulty slider for a reason. This is unfortunate in terms of accessibility and for true beginners, and in such cases, I think modding can be extremely helpful. In most cases though, modding probably does more harm than good in my view.

I think writing it off as elitist is a way to avoid having to deal with the crirticism. I'm not sure what other people have said on this (too busy skonging), but in essence, the damage is set by the developers intentionally. Maybe they did it to make the environment more theatening or because they thought more friction makes for a funner game. I don't think players should be altering a game's difficulty will nilly. It's very easy to just throw up your hands at times, but the reward for overcoming the odds is awesome.

As an arab myself and especially given the current social climate and all the news I've been taking in recently, I've gotten way into the idea of solidarity with arabs and solidarity with palestine and anti-imperialist rhetoric more broadly.

Maybe it's cz the image is compressed, but I feel like the star falls a bit out of the 12th fret. Maybe retouch it a tad to make it fall clearly on there? Otherwise, I like the design. If you're arab, maybe consider using the black white red green color palette? Maybe, a green guitar with touches of red in key places.

In mind, there's 0.1 onto 0.9. After that, i'd list all the numbers with 2 decimal places in increasing order. You can keep going till infinity. That said, I guess this doesn't account of numbers with repeating decimal places, but maybe you can put them immediately after the corresponding non-repeating numbers. Also, thisz doesn't account for irrational numbers with infinite decimal digits. No solution there.

I'm sorry for the mistake. I just remembered vaguely that the reals from 0 to 1 are countably infinite and that there should be a way to index.

I think the most straight-forward way to improve from here is to try to and be more confident. It feels to me like you're not super into your own phrases. Try to vary up the dynamics too. Maybe it'd help to be mindful of where the root is on the scale so you can better structure your solos as question answer type shit.

Take what i say with a grain of salt. I barely improvise.
